BBMB ORGANISES BLOOD DONATION CAMP
Chandigarh: Today i.e. on 02.06.2021 Bhakra Beas Management organized a Blood
Donation Camp on special request of Department of Transfusion Medicine, P.G.I.,
Chandigarh at BBMB Rest House, Sector 35-B, Chandigarh. Presently, blood banks in
India are facing acute shortage of blood due to grave situation of COVID-19 pandemic
and Hospitals are in urgent need of Blood, Plasma & Platelets to treat critically ill
patients & for surgery etc.
The camp was inaugurated by Er. Harminder Singh Chugh, Member/Power. All
COVID-19 protocols were followed during the camp.
On this occasion, Er. Sanjay Srivastava, Chairman, BBMB saluted all the donors
of BBMB for their courage to donate blood during the grave situation of COVID-19
pandemic. He further, apprised that all BBMB Hospitals at Nangal, Talwara &
Sundernagar are working 24X7 to provide best treatment to COVID patients & these
Hospitals are also Vaccinating public residing in their vicinity. He also saluted all the
frontline workers of the Hospitals.
On this occasion, Er. B.S.Sabherwal/CESO, Er. Vipin Gupta/CETS, Er. Rakesh
Sharma/Special Secretary, Er. B.S.Singhmar/Director HRD, Er. H.S.Manocha/Director
Security, Er. Satish Singla/Director NHP and Er. Anurag Goyal, Jt. Secretary/PR &
Admn. were also present in this camp.
