Apni Mandi & Day Market Committee meeting
Chandigarh, June 12:- A meeting of Apni Mandi and Day Market Committee of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh was held here today under the chairpersonship of Smt. Sheela Devi and attended by other members namely Sh. Ravi Kant Sharma, Smt. Heera Negi, Ms. Shipra Bansal, Dr. Jyotsna Wig, councillors and other concerned officers of MCC.
During the meeting it was discussed and decided that Apni Mandi will be resumed after the relaxation and directions from the Chandigarh Administration. The committee members decided that an agenda item to review day market issue in Apni Mandis be brought in the General House. The committee members were of the view that the vendors selling vegetables in the markets be restricted to 8’x10’ space for one component.
