5 Days Faculty Development Programme on “Personal Effectiveness and Stress Management” Kickstarts at PU
Mental Well Being Important for Imparting Education
The Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Centre, Panjab University, Chandigarh under the scheme of All India Council for Technical Education and its AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) academy is organizing a five days Faculty Development Programme on “Personal Effectiveness and Stress Management” from 20- 24 November, 2020 .
The Inaugural session in the presence of Chief Guest Prof. Anju Suri, Dean International Students started with her best wishes to participants and explained the importance of elimination of stress and how it will help participants to live a productive life.
Mr. Ramnik Bansal, Senior Faculty Art of Living and Alumni, IIT, Mumbai explained to participants as to how mental wellbeing of a Faculty Member is important for imparting effective education and to develop a strong channel of communication with students. He also explained to the participants about the course and how it will be helpful in dealing with stress in order to boost their productivity.
Prof. Dr. Devinder Singh, Coordinator of Programme the dignitaries and informed that the Department has received overwhelming response from participants of Institutes/Colleges/Universities spread all over India
