पंचकूला, 17 जनवरी- हरियाणा के राज्यपाल श्री बंडारू दत्तात्रेय ने आज सिखों के दशमें गुरु श्री गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी के प्रकाश पर्व के अवसर पर ऐतिहासिक नाडा साहिब गुरुद्वारा में शिश नवाया और आशीर्वाद लिया।
इस अवसर पर पत्रकारों से बातचीत करते हुए श्री दत्तात्रेय ने कहा कि आज गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जयंती देशभर में धूमधाम से मनाई जा रही है। गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी एक महान संत और योद्धा थे, जिन्होंने धर्म की रक्षा के लिए खालसा पंथ की स्थापना की थी। इससे पूर्व राज्यपाल ने निशान साहब पर माथा टेका व परिक्रमा की।
उन्होंने कहा कि श्री गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी ने देश व धर्म की रक्षा के लिए अपना पूरा परिवार न्यौछावर कर दिया। उन्होंने योद्धाओं का निर्माण कर खालसा पंथ की स्थापना की। राज्यपाल ने कहा कि देश में शस्त्र विद्या तथा धर्म विद्या दोनों की आवश्यकता है। श्री गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी ने शस्त्र धारण कर देश रक्षा को सर्वोच्च माना। राज्यपाल ने लोगों से आह्वान किया कि वे गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी के आदर्शों को अपने जीवन में अपनाए, यहीं गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी को एक सच्ची श्रद्धांजलि होगी। उन्होंने कहा कि देश की भावी पीढ़ी को श्री गोबिंद सिंह जी के इतिहास के बारे में जागरूक किया जाना चाहिए ताकि वे भी उनके जीवन से प्रेरणा लेकर देश को ओर मजबूत और शक्तिशाली बनाने में अपना योगदान दें सके।
एक प्रश्न के उत्तर में राज्यपाल ने कहा कि अयोध्या का राम मंदिर संपूर्ण मानवता का प्रतीक है। उन्होंने कहा कि श्री राम देश के 140 करोड़ लोगों के दिलो में बसे है और उन्हें किसी एक धर्म या मजहब से जोड़कर नहीं देखा जाना चाहिए।
इस अवसर पर हरियाणा सिख गुरुद्वारा प्रबंधक कमेटी के महासचिव रमणीक सिंह मान ने राज्यपाल श्री बंडारू दत्तात्रेय को सिरोपा व गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी का चित्र भेंट किया। उन्होंने राज्यपाल को गुरु गोबिंद सिंह जी का जफ़रनामा भी भेंट किया।

सिविल सेवा परीक्षा 2019 में ट्राईसिटी में टॉप करने वाली और भारतीय पुलिस सेवा के 73वें बैच की टॉपर रहीं पटियाला की डॉ. दर्पण महिला सशक्तिकरण का प्रतीक हैं। उनकी उल्लेखनीय यात्रा सिविल सेवा की तैयारी कर रहे उम्मीदवारों के लिए प्रेरणा है।

प्राचार्या प्रोमिला मलिक ने अपने संबोधन में कहा कि इस प्रकार की कार्यशाला का आयोजन करने का उद्देश्य विद्यार्थियों के व्यक्तित्व को परिष्कृत और सुसंस्कृत करना है। उन्होंने कहा कि व्यक्तित्व के विकास में संस्कार का बड़ा योगदान होता है। संस्कारहीन होने पर, लोग सुंदर व्यक्ति से भी दूरी बना लेते हैं। हर व्यक्ति की सोच की झलक उसकी पर्सनालिटी में दिखती है। इसलिए हमेशा अच्छा सोचो और अच्छा करो।

This collection is carried out by the dedicated collection vehicle – Visar Vahan – which collects floral waste that is then skillfully transformed into fragrant incense cones and sticks by the ARPAN SHGs. This initiative aims to ensure a cleaner and more environmentally friendly city.
Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation expressed her enthusiasm for this initiative, emphasizing its unique collaboration between stakeholders. She highlighted that this collaboration creates sustainable livelihood opportunities for women and promotes the adoption of sustainable practices. Through the recycling of floral waste and the promotion of eco-friendly products, MCC aims to not only preserve the environment but also generate livelihood opportunities for women. This initiative serves as a reminder of the importance of responsible waste management and showcases the significant impact that small actions can have on the community and the environment. In addition to the collection of floral waste through Visar Vahan, a comprehensive deep cleansing drive is currently underway at worship places throughout the city. This drive, which includes activities such as sweeping, washing, repairing, litter picking, cleaning dustbins, and collecting floral waste, will continue until January 22, coinciding with the Pran Pratishtha Ceremony at Ram Janmabhoomi. These proactive measures exemplify MCC’s unwavering commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in public spaces.

पंचकूला, 15 जनवरी कालका के राजकीय स्कूल में विकसित भारत संकल्प यात्रा जनसंवाद ने प्रवेश किया। जिला मंडल महामंत्री श्री वीरेंद्र राणा ने कार्यक्रम में मुख्यातिथि के रूप में शिरकत की।
इस अवसर पर कालका की पूर्व विधायिका श्रीमती लतिका शर्मा, नगर परिषद चैयरमेन कृष्ण लांबा, पूर्व जिला अध्यक्ष अजय शर्मा, पाषर्द विनोद कुमार भी उपस्थित थे। विकसित भारत संकल्प यात्रा जनसंवाद का नगर निगम के चैयरमेन व नगर निगम के काउंसलरस और अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्तियों ने भव्य स्वागत किया। ग्रामीणों को संबोधित करते हुए श्री वीरेंद्र राणा ने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी की सोच है कि समाज के गरीब व जरूरतमंद को और लाईन में खडे अंतिम व्यक्ति तक जन कल्याणकारी योजनाओ ंका लाभ जरूर पहुंचना चाहिए। उन्होने कहा कि प्रधानमंत्री ने 2047 तक भारत को एक विकसित राष्ट्र बनाने का संकल्प लिया है। आज हमार देश एक विकासशील देश है। हम सभी को प्रधानमंत्री के सपने को अपनी भागेदारी सुनिश्चित कर विकासशील राष्ट्र का सपना पूरा करना है। उन्होंने कहा कि हरियाणा के मुख्यमंत्री श्री मनोहर लाल ने प्रदेश का समान रूप से विकास किया है। उन्होंने प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी के अभियान बेटी बचाओं बेटी पढ़ाओं को हरियाणा में साकार रूप देते हुए पूरा किया है। आज हरियाणा में लिंगानुपात एक हजार लड़को पर 923 लड़कियों का है। उन्होंने कहा कि सीएम ने पंचकूला जिले पर भी अपना विशेष फोक्स रखा है। हरियाणा विधानसभा अध्यक्ष श्री ज्ञानचंद गुप्ता ने पंचकूला के विकास के लिए 5 हजार करोड रुपये से ज्यादा के विकास कार्य करवाए है। उन्होने कहा कि जिला प्रशासन अपनी सर्विसिज जनता ंके घरद्वार पर जाकर प्रदान कर रहा है। श्री राणा ने सेवाओं और जनकल्याणकारी योजनाओं का ज्यादा से ज्यादा लाभ उठाने की लोगों से अपील की।
उन्होंने कहा कि आज विभिन्न विभागों द्वारा शिविर लगाकर गांववासियों को केंद्र और राज्य सरकार की विभिन्न जनकल्याणकारी योजनाओं के बारे में जानकारी दें रही है। साथ ही राशन कार्ड, आधार कार्ड, आयुष्मान/चिरायु कार्ड, वद्धावस्था सम्मान भत्ता में आ रही त्रुटियों को मौके पर ही दूर किया गया ताकि लाभार्थियों को कार्यालयों के चक्कर ना लगाने पड़े। उन्होंने कहा कि ऐसे पात्र व्यक्ति जो किसी कारणवश योजनाओं का लाभ नहीं ले पाए, उन्हें मौके पर ही संबंधित विभागों द्वारा योजनाओं का लाभ प्रदान किया गया। उन्होंने विभिन्न कल्याणकारी योजनाओं के लाभार्थियों को प्रसश्ति पत्र दिए। राजकीय स्कूल कालका के बच्चों ने मुख्यअतिथि के सम्मुख स्वागत गान की बेहतरीन प्रस्तुति दी। स्कूली बच्चों ने हरियाणवी डंास, देशभक्ति गीत व नाटक की प्रस्तुति से दर्शकों की वाहवाही बटोरी और बच्चों को प्रशस्ति पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया। इस मौके पर एलईडी वैन के माध्यम से लोगों को प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी का रिकार्डिंड संदेश सुनाया गया, जिसे उपस्थित जनों ने रूचि लेकर सुना। इसके अलावा लघु फिल्म के माध्यम से केंद्र व राज्य सरकार की योजनाओं की जानकारी भी दी गई ताकि लोग उनका लाभ उठा सके। इस अवसर पर मंडल महामंत्री वीरेंद्र राणा ने कार्यक्रम में उपस्थित लोगों को विकसित भारत की शपथ दिलवाई और सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम में भाग लेने वाले बच्चों को प्रशस्ति पत्र देकर सम्मानित किया।

Panchkula , Jan 15 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal today laid the foundation stone of Medical College and Hospital to be built on 30 acres of land in Sector-32, Panchkula at a cost of Rs 800 crore. Haryana Vidhan Sabha Speaker, Sh. Gian Chand Gupta was also present on this occasion.
While interacting with media persons, the Chief Minister informed that the new Medical College and Hospital to be constructed by Haryana Shahri Vikas Pradhikarn (HSVP) would be named after Dr. Mangal Sen. The initial phase will involve an expenditure of Rs 500 crore, with an anticipated additional expenditure of Rs 300 crore. The entire project is slated to be completed within 30 months. It will have 100 MBBS seats.
The Chief Minister highlighted that after assuming office in 2014, we had announced to establish a Medical College and Hospital in each district of the state. Except two districts of Charkhi Dadri and Palwal, Medical College and Hospital have been established in every district. Out of which 15 had already been commissioned including 6 government, 1 aided and 8 private. The process is underway for commissioning of medical college in the remaining district.
Responding to a query, the Chief Minister stated that in 2014, the state had 6 medical colleges. This count increased to 12 between 2014 and 2019, further reaching 15 from 2019 to the present. With the completion of all, the medical college count will rise to 29 in the future. Upon the completion of all medical colleges, the total number of MBBS seats in the state will reach 3500, he added.
Highlighting the importance of healthcare professionals, the Chief Minister expressed confidence that the state will get 3500 doctors annually. Additionally, the number of PG seats is set to rise from 851 to 1200, addressing the need for specialized doctors. He said that Para-medical colleges and Physiotherapy colleges will also be set up within these medical colleges. This comprehensive approach aims to eliminate shortages of both general and specialized medical professionals in the state.
The Chief Minister revealed that certain African countries, including Uganda, have expressed interest in forging agreements with Haryana and sending their students to Haryana for MBBS courses. He said that Uganda has population similar to Haryana but the country only has two medical colleges.
The Chief Minister conveyed that Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi advocates for the health and fitness of every individual in the country. Aligning with this vision, medical colleges are being established across the state. Apart from Shri Krishna Ayurveda Vishvidhayala in Kurukshetra, an Ayush AIIMS in Panchkula for natural treatment has been established. Additionally, the Kalpana Chawla University of Health Sciences is being operational in Kutail. Emphasizing a holistic approach, Vyamshalas and Sports Nurseries have also been established in villages. The Chief Minister said that after conducing mapping of villages, sports facilities including stadia and nurseries would be set up in 300 villages of the State this year. In response to a question about the Prime Minister’s call for cleanliness work in religious places, Sh. Manohar Lal mentioned the initiation of this noble drive from January 14 to January 22. This period involves performing pooja and carrying out cleanliness activities in religious places. He encouraged every family to participate in ‘Deepotsav’ at home on January 22. Additionally, there are considerations to arrange live broadcasts in educational institutes and other places to facilitate people connecting with Pran Prastishtha samaroh.
In reply to another question, Chief Minister said that all liquor establishments in the state would be closed on January 22.
The Chief Minister emphasized that the inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is not a political event, and it holds deep sentimental significance for the people. He mentioned that those who choose not to attend the function may face consequences as the people themselves will give them a befitting reply. Mayor Panchkula Sh. Panchkula January 15 – Haryana Chief Minister, Sh Manohar Lal said that the coordination of language in books is akin to the mutual relationship between body and soul.
The Chief Minister was speaking today at the inauguration of the 2nd Panchkula Book Fair organized by six departments under the aegis of power companies in Panchkula. National Book Trust also has a special contribution in this fair. The book fair will continue till 22 January. Nearly 100 publishers have put stalls in the fair, in which books of Hindi, English, Urdu, Sanskrit, Punjabi etc. will be available. “Haryana illuminates with the light of knowledge, knowledge flows through electricity” is the theme of the book fair.
The Chief Minister said that books enhance knowledge. Whenever we get time, we must read books, not just for show but to gain real knowledge. In ancient times, shruti gyaan was used to impart knowledge to the future generations. Books also free us from mental stress. Books on various subjects including spirituality, sports, culture, stories, narratives and satirists are available in libraries. Every person should buy books.
The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had said that bouquets should not be given at the time of welcome or felicitation. He said that a library has also been opened in Sant Kabir Kutir, Chief Minister’s residence. Officers and media persons are also taking books from here. The Chief Minister said that we all should definitely read the book “Raag Darbari” written by writer Shivlal Shukla, IAS (retd.) because this book also contains the articles of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay on the direction of national life. He said that he is always doing his work following the verse of Gita, Karmanyevadhikaraste Ma Faleshu Kadachan, he never desired the result, the result comes automatically.
The Chief Minister said that the glory of word knowledge is immeasurable. First there was knowledge of letters, then there was knowledge of words, then sentences were formed, then language and script were formed and books were formed.
Today in the digital age the concept of e-library has also come. It is noteworthy that on 22 October 2020, the first e-library by power corporations under CSR was inaugurated in Kachhwa village of Karnal district. Today the Chief Minister also inaugurated three more libraries namely Sardar Patel Library Samana Bahu Karnal, Sardar Patel Library Mohadi Kurukshetra and Sardar Patel Library Dholra Yamunanagar through remote.
The Chief Minister unveiled the book Vidyut Pravah se Gyan Pravah e-magazine on 25 years of reforms in power corporations. Apart from this, he also released the book of Dr. Pramod and Anu Gupta of Higher Education Department.
Presiding over the occasion, Haryana Legislative Assembly Speaker Shri Gian Chand Gupta said that we should read history books. He said that this will give the new generation an opportunity to know their heroes recorded in history. In this way the youth will imbibe the lives of their heroes and create a bright future.
Chairman of Power Corporations, Shri PK Das gave detailed information on various aspects of the second Panchkula Book Fair. He said that the first fair was organized in Panchkula from 14 to 20 December 2023, in which 30 publishers had set up their stalls. Today more than 100 publishers have set up their stalls in this fair. He said that the main objective of organizing the book fair is to connect civilization along with development and it is hoped that this 8-day long book fair will be able to provide an intellectual environment by collecting literature, culture and education.
On this occasion, Additional Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister, Dr. Amit Agrawal said that books are our best friends. Books are the best source of knowledge, hence everyone must read books. The meaning of the theme of today’s book fair is that just as electric light is reaching everyone’s homes, similarly the light of knowledge should also reach everyone’s homes, so that man can make his valuable contribution to the progress of the society and the country.
In collaboration with the Women and Child Development Department, through the School Education Department and Higher Education Department, a state level workshop of all the women cell in-charges of Haryana is being organized at Indradhanush Auditorium from 10 am to 2 pm on the occasion of Panchkula Book Fair. Director General of Police Shri Shatrujit Kapoor will attend the state level function as the chief guest. Principal Secretary of Women and Child Development Department, Mrs. Amneet P. Kumar will be specially present in the morning session. Apart from this, senior officers of Women Safety of Police Department will play a special role.
On this occasion, Mayor of Panchkula Mr. Kulbhushan Goyal, Managing Director of UHBVN Dr. Saket Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Sushil Sarwan, Deputy Commissioner of Police Sumer Pratap Singh and others were present.

*Chandigarh, January 15:-* To reduce use of banned plastic and to promote sustainability Municipal Corporation Chandigarh distributed compostable bags to vendors near prominent places of worship as part of the Swachh Teerath Campaign,today. The campaign seeks to encourage vendors to adopt eco-friendly practices. Aryan, the Swachh Bharat Mission Brand Ambassador, handed over the compostable bags to vendors at Iscon Temple, Sector-36, and Sai Temple, Sector 29. The MC team also briefed vendors about the harmful effects of single-use plastic and highlighted the advantages of using compostable bags.
Alongwith the distribution of compostable bags, a deep cleansing drive is currently underway at worship places in the city which will continue till January 22, coinciding with the Pran Pratishtha Ceremony at Ram Janmabhoomi. The drive includes sweeping, litter picking, cleaning dustbins, and collecting floral waste. These proactive measures, demonstrate unwavering commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in public spaces.
