पंचकूला, 15 मार्च – उपायुक्त एवं माता मनसा देवी पूजा स्थल बोर्ड के मुख्य प्रशासक श्री सुशील सारवान ने 9 अप्रैल से 17 अप्रैल तक आयोजित होने वाले चैत्र नवरात्र मेला के आयोजन को लेकर आज माता मनसा देवी पूजा स्थल बोर्ड के कार्यालय में आयोजित बैठक की अध्यक्षता की तथा विभिन्न विभागों के अधिकारियों को सभी आवश्यक प्रबन्ध पूरे करने के निर्देश दिये।
श्री सुशील सारवान ने कहा कि चैत्र नवरात्र मेला में प्रदेश के साथ- साथ देशभर से लाखों श्रद्धालु माता के दर्शन के लिये आते है। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि श्रद्धालुओं की सुविधा के लिये सभी आवश्यक प्रबंध मेला से पूर्व किये जाये ताकि एक व्यवस्थित तरीके से श्रद्धालु माता के दर्शन कर सकें। उन्होंने कहा कि लोगों की माता मनसा देवी में आपार आस्था है और अनेक श्रद्धालु नगें पांव और दंडवत से माता के दर्शन करते है। उन्होंने हरियाणा शहरी विकास प्राधिकरण और नगर निगम को सिंह द्वार से माता मनसा देवी मंदिर तक आवश्यकतानुसार सड़कों का पैचवर्क और मरम्मत का कार्य करने के निर्देश दिये ताकि श्रद्धालुओं को किसी प्रकार की असुविधा ना हो। उन्होंने कहा कि श्राईन बोर्ड द्वारा वरिष्ठ नागरिकों, गर्भवती महिलाओं और निशक्त जनों के लिये माता के दर्शन करने की उचित व्यवस्था की जाए।
      उपायुक्त ने बताया कि मेला की व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के लिए 13 स्थानों पर पुलिस नाका लगाया जाएगा। मेला स्थल को तीन जोन में बांटा जाएगा। मेला परिसर में एक कंट्रोल रूम भी स्थापित किया जाएगा। पार्किंग व अन्य स्थानों पर भी पुलिस की तैनाती रहेगी। हर जोन में डयूटी मजिस्ट्रेट नियुक्त किया जाएगा। उन्होेंने निर्देश दिये कि मेले के दौरान प्लास्टिक कैरीबैग के इस्तेमाल पर पूर्णतः अंकुश लगाने के लिए हरियाणा राज्य प्रदूषण नियंत्रण बोर्ड और नगर निगम द्वारा एक संयुक्त अभियान चलाया जाए।
श्री सुशील सारवान ने निर्देश दिये कि मेले के दौरान माता मनसा देवी मंदिर, काली माता मंदिर कालका व चंडी माता मंदिर में 24 घंटे बिजली की निर्बाध आपूर्ति सुनिश्चित की जाए। उन्होंने कहा कि बिजली विभाग मंदिर परिसर में बिजली की आवश्यकता का आंकलन करे और अगर आवश्यकता हो तो अतिरिक्त जैनसैट की व्यवस्था की जाए ताकि श्रद्धालुओं को कोई असुविधा न हो।
उपायुक्त ने कहा कि स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा मंदिर की लाईब्रेरी में स्थित डिस्पेंसरी में शिफ्ट के अनुसार 24 घंटे डाॅक्टरों की टीम की तैनाती की जाए। इसके अलावा मंदिर और डिस्पेंसरी के समीप एक-एक एंबुलेंस का प्रबंध किया जाए ताकि किसी भी आपातकालीन स्थिति में मरीज को समय पर अस्पताल पहुंचाया जा सके। साथ ही आयुष और राष्ट्रीय आयुर्वेद संस्थान (एनआईए) द्वारा भी मेडिकल शिविर का आयोजन किया जाए।
उन्होंने जन स्वास्थ्य अभियांत्रिकी विभाग को निर्देश दिये कि दूषित जल से होने वाली बीमारियों की रोकथाम के लिए माता मनसा देवी मंदिर परिसर में लगी सभी पानी की टंकियों की उचित साफ-सफाई की जाए। इसके अलावा मेले के दौरान पानी की गुणवत्ता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए प्रतिदिन सुबह और शाम पानी के सैंपल लेकर जांच के लिए भेजे जाएं। इसी प्रकार उन्होंने निर्देश दिये कि खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिकारी लंगर और प्रसाद की गुणवत्ता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए सैंपल लेकर जांच के लिए भेजेंगे।
उपायुक्त ने निर्देश दिये कि हरियाणा रोडवेज और सीटीयू द्वारा श्रद्धालुओं को मंदिर तक लाने-लेजाने के लिए प्रयाप्त बसों की व्यवस्था की जाये। बैठक में बताया गया कि हरियाणा रोडवेज द्वारा श्रद्धालुओं के लिये विशेष बस सेवा शुरू की जायेगी। इलेक्ट्रिक बसों का रूट भी माता मनसा देवी मंदिर तक चलाया जाएगा।
बैठक में माता मनसा देवी पूजा स्थल बोर्ड के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी अशोक कुमार बंसल, सचिव शारदा प्रजापति, काली माता मंदिर कालका के सचिव पृथ्वीराज, एसीपी पंचकूला रजनीश कुमार, एचएसवीपी के कार्यकारी अभियंता एनके पायल, लोक निर्माण विभाग के कार्यकारी अभियंता आशीश चैहान, हरियाणा रोडवेज महाप्रबन्धक अशोक कौशिक, जिला खाद्य एवं आपूर्ति अधिकारी नरेश कुमार, सीएमओ कार्यालय से उप सिविल सर्जन डाॅ. विकास गुप्ता, फायर सर्विस पंचकूला से एएफएसओ मामराज, श्राइन बोर्ड के एसडीओ राकेश पहूजा भी उपस्थित थे।

*Chandigarh, March 15:-* Aiming to provide affordable items to those in need while promoting the concept of reducing, reusing and recycling, the Municipal Corporation has started its seventh ‘One Rupee Store’ at the Community Centre, Sector-56 , here today for two days.

City Mayor, Sh. Kuldeep Kumar inaugurated the store in the presence of area councillor Sh. Manaur, other senior officials of MCC, and prominent members of the ward.

While speaking on the occasion, the Mayor said that the MCC’s permanent RRR center in Sector 17 has received an overwhelming response from citizens, enabling the establishment of this store. The aim of this initiative is to provide affordable items to those in need while promoting the concept of reducing, reusing, and recycling. The store offers a variety of items such as books, electronics, clothing, crockery, kitchenware, toys, and bed sheets, all priced at just Rs. 1 per item.

He said that the Municipal Corporation has set up its permanent RRR center at New Bridge Market, near Jagat Cinema in Sector 17, where citizens are encouraged to donate items that are no longer in use to help those in need. He added that after cleaning, repairing, and refurbishing the donated items collected at the RRR center in Sector 17, the MCC is committed to organizing more such one-rupee stores in different areas/wards of the city.

Municipal Commissioner, Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, expressed her gratitude towards the citizens of tricity for their overwhelming response and support. She noted that this is the seventh successful one-rupee store, and the MCC is committed to serving the community by establishing more such stores throughout the city. The launch of this store is a testament to the MCC’s efforts towards creating sustainable and inclusive practices that benefit citizens from all walks of life. She said that the MCC is showing its commitment towards promoting sustainability and inclusivity with opening of these kind of stores in the colony areas of the city.

She said that since 2023, the Municipal Corporation has embarked on a journey to promote sustainable behavior and practices among its citizens. As part of this initiative,  have successfully organized six one-rupee stores in Dhanas, Manimajra, Maloya, Sunder Nagar, Ramdarbar, and a special store for Safaimitras. These stores have collectively sold approximately 15,000 items, she added.

*Chandigarh, March 15:-* Acting tough on the defaulters of Property Tax, the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation on Friday sealed four commercial properties in Sector 17, Sector 26, Industrial area and Hallomajra for non-payment of property tax.

Following the directions of Municipal Commissioner Ms. Anindita Mitra, a team of property tax wing of the civic body authority took action against property owners, who had not cleared Rs 15,52,221/- in taxes.

Shop number 107-108, Sector 17-B owed Rs 2,29,634/- in property tax, SCO No. 45 in sector 26 owed Rs 3,07,051/-, Plot No. 28/5 in Industrial area Phase II owed Rs. 7,74,306/- and Plot No. 1842 in Hallomajra had pending dues of Rs 2,41,230/-. These properties had not paid the tax since a long time.

The property tax branch of the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation had given multiple chances to these defaulters to pay the tax.

The MC Chandigarh further warned all the defaulters to pay their pending property tax within stipulated time frame to avoid any kind of legal action in future.

With Swachh Survekshan 2024 on the horizon, the training and capacity experts at MC Chandigarh delivered informative sessions covering six major subject areas: Solid Waste Management, Domestic Hazardous Waste Management, Prevention of Sexual Harassment Act, Disaster Management & Epidemic Response, Government Scheme Linkages, and Mental Health and Well-being.

Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, Municipal Commissioner said that MC Chandigarh remains dedicated to the professional growth and development of its employees. The organization has dedicated an entire month to the sanitation department for conducting the Capacity Building and Training Workshop, ensuring comprehensive coverage of essential topics.

She further added that by organizing this capacity building and training workshop, the organization strives to equip its workforce with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality services to the citizens of Chandigarh.

The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from approximately 5600 attendees over the course of one month. Attendees had the opportunity to interact with experts and clarify their doubts on each segment. Furthermore, the attendees received guidance on recognizing and avoiding fraudulent phone calls and messages related to banking.

The capacity building and training for other wings have also been scheduled and will be covered in the coming months.

*Enhancing its water quality monitoring capabilities*

*Chandigarh, March 15:-* Aiming to achieve Sustainable Development Goals and foster a gender-responsive approach to water resource management under AMRUT 2.0, the Municipal Corporation, in collaboration with DAY-NULM (Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana National Urban Livelihoods Mission), focuses on goals and fostering a gender-responsive approach to water resource management.

As part of the AMRUT Mitra initiative, the Municipal Corporation has proposed six projects, which include the cleaning and maintenance of four Amrut Sarovars (Dadumajra, Kaimbala, Khuda Alisher, Sarangpur) and the implementation of two on-site water quality testing programs using a Water Mobile Testing van.

The works order for these projects was officially handed over to the SHGs, marking a significant milestone in empowering women and engaging them in water management activities. To ensure their effective participation, training sessions were conducted from March 11th to March 15th, 2024, at Amrut Sarovars: Dadumajra, Kaimbala, KhudaAlisher, and Sarangpur, under the expert guidance of trainers.

While sharing about the AMRUT Mitra initiative, Municipal Commissioner Ms. Anindita Mitra said that by actively involving women SHGs in water management, the MCC not only promoting gender equality but also harnessing their skills and potential to improve water quality and sustainability.

She said that nearly 16 SHG individuals, consisting of 6 teams for each project, have been actively involved in the AMRUT Mitra initiative. Four SHGs, namely Laxmi SHG, Trisha SHG, Pond and Lake SHG, and Sehyog SHG, have been selected to participate in this groundbreaking endeavor.

The Commissioner further said that in addition, the implementation of mobile water testing vans will ensure that the water supplied to residents meets quality parameters. The labs will conduct on-site testing to identify any initial indications of poor water quality, enabling immediate remedial action to be taken.

She said that the two mobile labs will perform on-site testing for parameters such as pH, residual chlorine, TDS, conductivity, odor, and turbidity. Operating daily, the vehicles will collect mandatory samples from waterworks across various parts of the city, especially rehabilitation colonies and peripheral areas. These labs will be manned by women self-help groups, thereby empowering the community.

She further said that the AMRUT Mitra initiative recognizes the critical role that women can play in water management and aims to provide them with the necessary training, resources, and opportunities to actively contribute to sustainable water practices. By empowering women SHGs and involving them in decision-making processes related to water management, the initiative seeks to create a more inclusive and equitable society, she added.

Additionally, the project encompassed repair and renovation work on the toilets, switch/socket repairs, tube light replacements, and the polishing of lights and Kota flooring. In a programme held at Green Park, near bus stand, village Maloya, the Mayor expressed his commitment to ensuring that every resident has access to reliable water supply, which is essential for their well-being and quality of life. He said that the primary objective of this project is addressing the low water pressure issue in Maloya colony.

He said that the existing cast iron (CI) water supply line, which has been in use for approximately 40 years and passes through the challenging terrain of the jungle area behind Snehalaya, is prone to frequent cracks and repairs. Given the difficulties in maintaining and repairing this line, urgent replacement with a new ductile iron (DI) water supply line has become necessary to prevent water scarcity and disruptions, especially during the summer season, the Mayor said.

MC Commissioner Ms. Anindita Mitra, IAS, emphasized the significance of improving water infrastructure for the growth and development of the community and assured their dedication to seeing this project through to completion.

She said that with the declining water table levels in existing tube wells, the future water supply in Maloya is expected to rely more heavily on canal water. Therefore, the project includes provisions for laying 10″, 6″, and 4″ i/d D.I. pipelines, CI/DI specials, sluice valves, non-return valves (NRV), connections to the existing water supply network, and other necessary civil works. The estimated cost of the project is approximately Rs. 68.35 Lakhs and will be completed by next month.

  उन्होंने आंगनवाड़ी वर्करों को संबोधित करते हुए कहा कि बच्चों में मोबाइल की इस्तेमाल से साइबर क्राइम का खतरा बढता जा रहा है। लगातार स्क्रीन टाइम, स्मार्टफोन और इलेक्ट्रॉनिक गैजेट के अधिक इस्तेमाल से दिमाग का वह हिस्सा कमजोर हो जाता है, जो बच्चों के विकास के लिए ठीक है। आने वाली पीढ़ी को स्वस्थ दिमाग और बेहतर भविष्य देने के लिए इन सावधानियों पर ध्यान देना जरूरी है। आजकल बच्चे मोबाइल का गलत इस्तेमाल भी करते है और गलत वीडियो बनाते है जोकि कानून के विरुद्ध है। उन्होंने कहा कि बच्चों पर आपराधिक मामले भी दर्ज हो रहे है । उन्होंने बच्चों को मोबाइल से दूर रहने व अभिवावको को सतर्क रहने के लिए कहा।

इस अवसर पर नगर निगम महापौर श्री कुलभूषण गोयल और शिवालिक बोर्ड के वाइस चेयरमैन ओम प्रकाश देवीनगर, बीजेपी जिलाध्यक्ष दीपक शर्मा भी उपस्थित थे। 

उन्होंने कहा कि पंचकूला के सभी सामुदायिक केन्द्र चाहे वह गांव में हों या शहर में उनके नाम शहीदों व महान् विभूतियों के नाम पर रखे गए है। श्री गुप्ता ने कहा कि वे भगत सिंह, सुखदेव, राजगुरू, मदन लाल ढींगरा जैसे उन शहीदों को भी नमन करते हैं जिन्होंने देश को आजाद करवाने के लिए भरी जवानी में फांसी का फंदा चूम लिया और उन्हीं की शहादत के बदौलत आज हम आजादी की खुली हवा में सांस ले रहे हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि नगर निगम द्वारा सभी सामुदायिक केन्द्रों में शहीदों की जीवनी को भी अंकित किया गया है ताकि आने वाली युवा पीढी को शहीदों के बलिदान के बारे में पता लग सके और उन्हें उनकी शहादत से वे देशभक्ति की प्रेरणा ले सके। उन्होंने कहा कि इसके लिए पंचकूला नगर निगम की पूरी टीम बधाई का पात्र है।

गुप्ता ने कहा कि पूर्व की सरकारों में हर मुख्यमंत्री ने अपने ही जिले रोहतक, सिरसा, भिवानी, हिसार को चमकाया। पंचकूला तो उन सरकारों में विकास के मामले में अपेक्षित ही रहा। उन्होने कहा कि कंेद्र में प्रधानमंत्री श्री नरेंद्र मोदी और हरियाणा में मुख्यमंत्री श्री मनोहर लाल ने जब से बागडोर संभाली है, तब से 10 सालों में ही विकास के नए आयाम स्थापित किए है। उन्होने कहा कि आज पंचकूला प्रदेश का पहला 24 घंटे बिजली की सप्लाई देने वाला जिला बन गया है, जबकि पूर्व की सरकारों में मात्र 7 से 8 घंटे ही बिजली की सप्लाई दी जाती थी। 

 श्री गुप्ता ने कहा कि बीजेपी सरकार ने जिले के हर गावं में सामुदायिक केद्र बनवाए हैं और कुछ सामुदायिक केंद्रों पर काम चल रहा है। उन्होने कहा कि पंचकूला के हर सामुदायिक केद्र का नाम शहीदों के नाम पर नामकरण किया गया है और उनकी जीवनी भी लगाई गई है ताकि युवाओं को उनके द्वारा देश के लिए दी गई कुबार्नी के बारे में पता लग सके और युवाओं में देशभक्ति की भावना का संचार हो सके। उन्होने कहा कि सभी के लिए जीवन में सबके लिए बिजली, पानी, सडक, सुरक्षा, स्वास्थ्य, शिक्षा बहुत आवश्यक है। प्रदेश सरकार ने सभी को मूलभूत सुविधाएं प्राथमिकता के आधार पर उपलब्ध करवाकर जिले व प्रदेश के लोगों के विकास में कोई कसर नही छोडी है। पंचकूला के सैक्टर- 15 और बरवाला में पीएम श्री स्कूल सीधे तौर पर कंेद्र द्वारा बेटियों के लिए स्थापित किए गए हैं और हर साल 2 करोड रूपये इन स्कूलों के विकास के लिए केंद्र सरकार से आते हैं। 

 उन्होने कहा कि एनएच-73 बनने के बाद खंड बरवाला की तस्वीर और तकदीर बदली है। सभी गांवों के इस मुख्य राजमार्ग से जुडने से जंहा लोगों को सुविधा हुई हैं वही विकास के नए मार्ग प्रशस्त हुए है। उन्होने कहा कि उपेक्षित पंचकूला आज विकसित पंचकूला बन गया है। 2014 से पूर्व पंचकूला से विकास एवं नौकरियों के मामले में पक्षपात किया गया, परंतु ने हरियाणा सरकार ने एक हरियाणवी एक और सबका साथ सबका विकास, सबका विश्वास और सबका प्रयास की भावना से कार्य करते हुए पूरे प्रदेश का समान विकास सुनिश्चित किया है। 

विधानसभा अध्यक्ष ने कहा कि हरियाणा सरकार ने सबका साथ सबका विकास, सबका विश्वास और सबका प्रयास व हरियाणा एक हरियाणवी एक की भावना से कार्य करते हुए प्रदेश का समान विकास सुनिश्चित किया है। आज पंचकूला शिक्षा का हब बन गया है। सेक्टर-23 निफ्ट, सेक्टर-26 में बहुतकनीकि मल्टी स्कील सेंटर तथा अन्य शैक्षणिक संस्थाओं से विद्यार्थियों को काफी लाभ मिल रहा है। माता मनसा देवी मंदिर परिसर में आयुष एम्स का कार्य लगभग पूरा हो चुका है। इसके अलावा हाल ही में सेक्टर-32 में मेडिकल काॅलेज की आधारशिला रखी गई है और इसके निर्माण कार्य को जल्द ही पूरा कर लिया जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि अब तक पंचकूला में 6000 करोड रुपये से भी अधिक के विकास कार्य करवाए गए हैं।
