राष्टï्रीय लोक अदालत 12 दिसंबर को, मामलों की सुनवाई के लिए बैंच गठित

              विभिन्न प्रकार के मामलों की सुनवाई व उनके समाधान के लिए 12 दिसंबर शनिवार को राष्टï्रीय लोक अदालत का आयोजन किया जाएगा। मामलों के निपटान के लिए छह बैंचों का गठन किया गया है।


              जिला विधिक सेवा प्राधिकरण के सचिव एवं जिला एवं सत्र न्यायधीश राजेश मल्होत्रा ने बताया कि सिरसा, डबवाली व ऐलनाबाद के न्यायिक परिसरों में 12 दिसंबर को आयोजित होने वाली राष्टï्रीय लोक अदालत के लिए बैंचों का गठन किया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि इसके लिए राष्टï्रीय लोक अदालत के लिए न्यायिक परिसरों में 6 बैंच स्थापित की गई हैं जो न्यायधीशों की अध्यक्षता में मामलों की सुनवाई व उनका समाधान करेंगी। प्रत्येक बैंच के साथ सदस्य एडवोकेट भी लगाए गए हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि सिरसा में जिला एवं सत्र न्यायधीश राजेश मल्होत्रा, प्रिंसिपल जज जसबीर सिंह कुंडू, अतिरिक्त जिला एवं सत्र न्यायधीश पीके लाल, चीफ ज्यूडिशियल मैजिस्ट्रेट सविता कुमारी, ऐलनाबाद में सिविल जज जूनियर डिविजन संदीप कुमार तथा डबवाली में अतिरिक्त सिविल जज सिनियर डिविजन विनय शर्मा की अध्यक्षता में बैंचों का गठन किया गया है।

             उन्होंने बताया कि आपसी सहमति से हल हो सकने वाले मामलों में राष्टï्रीय लोक अदालत बहुत ही कारगर सिद्ध हो रही हैं और लोक अदालत में सुनाए गए फैसले की भी उतनी ही अहमियत है जितनी सामान्य अदालत में सुनाए गए फैसले की होती है। उन्होंने बताया कि लोक अदालत में सस्ता और सुलभ न्याय मिलता है तथा इसमें सुनाए गए फैसले के खिलाफ अपील दायर नहीं की जा सकती। इस दौरान वाहन दुर्घटना मुआवजा केस संबंधी मामले, मजदूरी विवाद, दीवाली मामले जैसे बैंक ऋण, राजस्व, नौकरी से संबंधित मामले, बच्चों व पत्नी के लिए भरण-पोषण आदि संबंधित विवाद, वैवाहिक मामले, जमीन अधिग्रहण, मुआवजा से संबंधित मामेल, बिजली-पानी बिल संबंध्धित मामले, चैक बाऊंस मामले जैसे केस रखे जाएंगे। 

सिरसा नगर परिषद के वार्ड नंबर 29 का उप चुनाव 27 दिसंबर को, 30 होगी मतगणना

              राज्य चुनाव आयोग हरियाणा द्वारा निकाय चुनावों के मद्देनजर तिथियों की घोषणा की गई है। इसी कड़ी में सिरसा नगर परिषद के वार्ड नंबर 29 के उपचुनाव की प्रक्रिया शुरु कर दी गई है।

              रिटर्निंग अधिकारी नगर परिषद सिरसा एवं एसडीएम जयवीर यादव ने बताया कि सिरसा नगर परिषद के वार्ड नंबर 29 के उप चुनाव के मद्देनजर 4 दिसंबर को नोटिस जारी किया गया है। प्रत्याशी 11 से 16 दिसंबर तक प्रात: 11 बजे से दोपहर 3 बजे तक (13 दिसंबर को छोड़कर) अपने नामांकन पत्र दाखिल कर सकते हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि 17 दिसंबर को नामांकन पत्रों की जांच होगी तथा 18 दिसंबर को सांय 3 बजे तक प्रत्याशी अपने नामाकन पत्र वापिस ले सकते हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि 18 दिसंबर को सांय 3 बजे बाद सभी उम्मीदवारों को चुनाव चिह्नï दिए जाएंगे तथा सभी प्रत्याशियों व पोलिंग स्टेशनों की सूची जारी की जाएगी। उन्होंने बताया कि 27 दिसंबर को मतदान होगा तथा 30 दिसंबर को मतगणना होगी तथा परिणाम घोषित किए जाएंगे।

7Days FDP on Mental Health Commences at PU

7days Faculty Development Program (FDP)by Human Resource Development Centre of Panjab University, Chandigarh commenced today on the theme, “Mental Health and Spirituality: The Capital of Well Being”.

Professor Girishwar Misar, Former Professor, University of Delhi and Former Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi International Hindi University, Wardha formally inaugurated the event and delivered the inaugural address on Spirituality and Mental Health.

Professor S.K Tomar, Director of HRDC, Panjab University, Chandigarh highlighted the activities and achievements of HRDC center and said that such deliberations are need of the hour as everyone in Corona is panicky and losing their mental health. This seven days program will help the young faculties to get their APA scores by attending this program but beyond this many senior professors has also joined this program to learn more about mental health, spirituality and well being. 

Professor Misar has rightly mentioned that there is a gap between needs and wants and consequently disharmony spreading in society. Every human being is having maximum wants and striving or running behind them.

Dr. Roshan Lal Coordinator of FDP, Asst. Professor of Psychology, PU  introduced the theme and welcomed all the participants and guests and shared that HRDC of Panjab University has provided the platform so that people can enhance their knowledge to get wellness in their daily life through being mentally healthy because spirituality and mental health both are the capital of well being. All human have been lost somewhere in rat race of modern life. He further added that daily there will be three sessions for 1.5 hours each in which eminent experts have been invited from India and abroad.

Today Professor NovRattan Sharma from M.D University Rohtak (Haryana) and Professor Akbar Hussain from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh  enlightened the participants towards the selected theme of program. 

Professor NovRattan Sahrma shared that Life without Values is meaningless and shared that every human have five values in life: Truth, Peace, Religion, non-violence and Love where majority of we are missing and misinterpreted all, resulting distortion in daily life.

 Dr Roshan Lal proposed the vote of thanks.

Joint Secretary & Mission Director Smart Cities Govt. of India visit Chandigarh

Chandigarh, December 05: – Sh. Kunal Kumar, IAS, Joint Secretary and Mission Director Smart Cities, Government of India visited city to review the Smart City projects. During the visit, he was accompanied by Municipal Commissioner Sh. K K Yadav, IAS who briefed him about the projects and works being carried out by Chandigarh Smart City.  He visited site of Sector 39 Water Works where augmentation of storage capacity is being done to store one day of drinking water for the city. The foundation stone for the project has been laid by Honourable Governor, Punjab  and Administrator UT of Chandigarh Sh. V.P. Singh Badnore on 4th December.

Joint Secretary also took note of Solar power generation works of 2000 KWp that have been carried out in the Water Works.

During the site visit, he inspected Legacy Waste mining project site at Daddu Majra and appreciated the works that are being carried out, enquired about the bio-soil, construction & demolition waste and RDF disposal that is being done as a part of Smart City. He took note of the fact that 20 acres of land will be freed on the completion of this project.

Joint Secretary also visited Capital Complex and saw the restoration works of Heritage buildings including Secretariat, High Court and Open hand. A key feature of this visit was use of Cycle to cover major part of the visit to promote cycling in the city, all the officials used cycles during visit of Capital Complex and to next site of underpass connecting Sector 17 to Rose Garden. He appreciated the design and spaces created for activities to make the area live.

Joint Secretary took special interest in Integrated Command and Control center and visited MCC Command room to see the works under progress. A detailed presentation on the works under ICCC was made to Joint Secretary. He also visited site of up-coming city command center.

Later during the visit a detailed presentation on status of all the works under smart cities was made by CMC Sh. K K. Yadav, IAS to Mission Director. Mission Director expressed his satisfaction on progress and at the same time laid emphasis on expediting the works.

Joint Secretary gave his suggestions to review the projects based on output parameters like reduction in NRW, time savings etc. He also suggested to take citizens feedback for all the services on e-governance platform including the rating of the services provided. Similarly, he suggested having electronic feedback system for public toilets and their cleanliness. For innovative projects, he suggested that passive housing which are environmental friendly and have lesser energy consumption. He was also of view that as Chandigarh is independent India’s first planned city, a park where children can learn basics of Urban planning using Lego bricks can be planned.

During the visit, he was accompanied by Sh. N. P. Sharma CGM, Chandigarh Smart City and officials of CSCL and EGIS International PMC for Smart City and officials of Engineering Department.

IGNOU extends Admission up to 15th December, 2020

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the last date of submission of online Fresh admission of all Masters, Bachelor & Diplomas programmes up to 15th December, 2020 for the July-2020 session. This extension of last date shall not apply to Certificate and Semester-based programmes, i.e., MP, MPB, PGDMM, PGDFM, PGDHRM, PGDOM, PGDFMP, DBPOFA, PGDIS, MCA, BCA, and all Certificate and Awareness programmes of 6 months duration or less. Details of the IGNOU academic programmes for the July, 2020 session can be accessed from the link https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/. The prospective learners can apply for Masters/Bachelor/Diploma programmes of the University on the official website, informed The Regional Director of IGNOU Regional centre Chandigarh Dr. A.K.Dimri. Last date of submission of ‘online’ admission form for July session was earlier fixed for November, 30.

For all those candidates, who have been planning to get admission in any of the IGNOU courses can apply for the same online. Firstly the candidate has to register themselves (if not registered) on the official website i.e https://ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in/. Whereas those who have already registered can simply login with the id- password and fill up the application form for the admission in the July session at Indira Gandhi National Open University for 2020. Also, before filling up the IGNOU admission form, candidates must go through the general instructions, eligibility criteria, fee details, duration, etc. on the official website. Applicants can also download the complete details of the programmes from the IGNOU website.

Learners can also take provisional admission in Bachelor and Master Degree Programmes pending due to declaration of their final year result. However such learners will have to submit their completed certificate/degree/marksheet by 31st December 2020. In case it is not submitted their admission will be cancelled and fee will be refunded as per University norms.
