Chandigarh, October 25:- The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Govt. of India has ranked Chandigarh 2nd in the all states ranking for the works carried out under Atal Mission for Rejuvenation & Urban Transformation (AMRUT). While sharing this achievement, Sh. K.K. Chandigarh, October 25:- The Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, Govt. of India (MoHUA) has granted the status of ODF++ to Chandigarh City. While sharing this information, Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh said here today that earlier, Chandigarh had achieved the ODF status on 2nd October 2016 and now the status has been upgraded to ODF++. He said that there are about 305 Public Toilets in the various markets in Chandigarh, out of which 274 are public Toilets and 31 are Community Toilets.
