World Environment Day was celebrated by Centre for Public Health, Panjab University at Sector 17 Bus Stand, here today by Dr Manoj Sharma, Assistant Professor, Students of Master in Public Health, Bidhi Lord, Manjot Singh Mandeep Singh, Sukhman Singh, Atisha, Amandeep Kaur regarding awareness for Air Pollution and its effect on Human being and on Vulnerable population specially the elderly and children. Use of Mask/hanky is essential during travel for common man, driver, conductor, staff working at bus stand now a days at exposed site of vehicular pollution like Bus Stand which contribute maximum Air Pollution.
Environmental Consciousness is must to have healthy life and save environmental resources for future generation. On this occasion Dr. A D Ahluwalia, was also present and motivated young generation to come forward to save environment. From Chandigarh Pollution Control Committee (CPCC), Mr Anil Garg was present.
