Chandigarh July 1, 2019 

An Indo-UK Workshop on the theme “Wastewater Treatment: Approaches, 
Management, and Capacity building” is being organized under the Researcher Links Scheme offered within Newton fund in partnership with the Royal Society of Chemistry, by the British Council, at the Sophisticated Analytical Instrumentation Facility (SAIF), Panjab University, Chandigarh from July 03-05, 2019.    

        Chancellor Panjab University, Prof. Raj Kumar has very kindly agreed to inaugurate the Workshop. Dr. S. K. Vasudeva, Scientific Consultant-Defence Technologies Office of the Principal Scientific Advisor to Govt. of India will be the guest of honour. 

        The organizing committee invites PU faculty to participate in the proceedings of the workshop. The inaugural function is scheduled on July 3, 2019 at 9.30 am at SAIF/CIL, Panjab University, informed ,Prof. S. K. Mehta, Director, SAIF/CIL.
