Commissioner starts tree plantation drive in Sector 61

Chandigarh, August 3:- Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh today started tree plantation drive at Green Belt, Sector 61, Chandigarh in the presence of office bearers of Resident Welfare Association, Sh. Krishan Pal Singh, Executive Engineer, Horticulture, local residents of area and other officers of MCC.

During the drives around 100 shrubs & trees were planted inside and outside the local parks of the area. The engineers of Horticulture wing of MCC provided proper safeguard to the newly planted saplings besides creating proper watering arrangement to the plants.

MCC tree plantation drive in Sector 42

Chandigarh, July 29:-

 Sh. Shashank Aanand, SSP, Traffic, Chandigarh and Sh. Hardeep Singh, Senior Deputy Mayor and area councillor today started the tree plantation drive at park in Sector 42, Chandigarh, in the presence office bearers of resident welfare association and local residents of area.

They planted saplings of medicinal plants, ornamental shrubs and fruit bearing trees in the park. The Senior Deputy Mayor asked the concerned engineers of Horticulture wing, MCC to provide proper safeguards to the plants and their proper upkeep.

Chandigarh, July 25:-

 Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner of Chandigarh today started tree plantation drive near park, Sector 24, Chandigarh in the presence local residents of area and other officers of MCC.

During the drives around 125 flowering shrubs & 6 trees were planted inside the local park. In addition to that 20 ornamental trees and 50 shrubs have been planted in a drive held at Valley park, Dhanas in presence of area councillor Smt. Sheela Devi and local residents.

Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner of Chandigarh today started tree plantation drive near park, Sector 15, Chandigarh in the presence of office bearers of Resident Welfare Association and local residents of area and other officers of MCC.

During the drives around 30 flowering shrubs & 3 trees were planted inside and outside the local park of the area. The engineers of Horticulture wing of MCC provided proper safeguard to the newly planted saplings besides creating proper watering arrangement to the plants.
