The number of students for registration of online admission for Panjab 
University has crossed 30,000, the last date of which is July 10, 2019, informed Prof. Shankarji Jha, Dean of University Instructions, Panjab University, Chandigarh. However, the number of applications complete in all ways for various courses is 14396 at present. In lieu of the extension of admission date, the admission schedule and dates for uploading tentative/provisional merit list and counselling have been changed 
as given below:-

For the academic session 2019-20, 15% seats over and above the total number of regular seats in each course are reserved for the NRI candidates and foreign nationals except those courses where a regulatory body has restricted the number of seats such as Department of Laws, UILS and PURC Regional centre in both the courses that is LL.B 3 years and 5 Years, B.A/B.Com LL.B (subject to the clearance of the regulatory body)

        He further informed that in order to facilitate the students to fill the 
online Admission Forms and upload their documents for various courses available in the portal http://onlineadmissions.puchd.ac.in, help desks  have been established  in the following departments:-

b.      University Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences. 
c.       University Business School 
d.      Department of Zoology 
e.       Department of Biotechnology 
f.       University School of Open Learning (Library) 
g.      Dept.of Evening Studies 
h.      Student Centre
