*MCC Intensifies Vigilance on Illegal Vendors During Festive Season*
*Chandigarh, October 23:-* In light of the ongoing festive season, the Municipal Corporation of Chandigarh has strengthened its vigilance and enforcement measures to curb illegal vending activities across the city.
MC Commissioner Sh. Amit Kumar, IAS, has directed the enforcement wing,MCC to extend its operational hours in Sec-17 to ensure effective control and monitoring during this period.
The enforcement teams will remain on duty citywide until 8 PM, with an extended focus in Sector 17, where the drive will continue until 10 PM. This initiative aims to maintain order and ensure compliance with city regulations, ensuring that citizens and visitors can enjoy a safe and organized festive environment.
The Municipal Corporation urges all vendors to comply with legal guidelines and avoid unauthorized vending. Strict action will be taken against violators to uphold public safety and convenience.
