*MC Chandigarh invites applications for temporary Diwali Festival Stalls – Apply Now via “IamChandigarh” App, MC sets up help desk at MC office, Sector 17 and MC office, Manimajra*
The Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh has setup Help desk counters at MC office, Sector 17 and Manimajra for temporary stall permissions which will be issued to interested shopkeepers, vendors, and individuals for setting up stalls during the upcoming Diwali festive season.
Permissions will be granted strictly on a First Come, First Serve basis. The last date to apply is October 17, 2025, and no coupons will be issued thereafter.
Anyone found setting up a stall without a valid coupon will be liable to pay double the applicable fee, and the stall is subject to removal without prior notice, as per existing municipal laws.

*Validity:* Permission is valid for 3 days only
In Sector 17 & 22, permissions will be granted only at designated places (excluding the 17 Plaza)
Stalls will not be allowed alongwith V-1, V-2 & V-3 Roads.

Download the “IamChandigarh” app from the Google Play Store
Navigate to Citizen Services
Select “Permission for Temporary Stalls”
Click on “Apply New Permission”
Fill in the required information and upload valid documents (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Driving License, Passport, etc.)
All applicants are requested to ensure they carry a valid ID at the time of setting up their stalls.
The Municipal Corporation appeals to all interested parties to adhere to the guidelines and timelines to ensure a smooth and festive experience for all.
