Mayor lays foundation stone of paving common area with paver blocks in between EWS colony at sector 56
Chandigarh, October 5:- Sh. Anup Gupta, Mayor, Chandigarh today laid down the foundation stone of paving common area falling in between EWS colony with paver blocks at sector 56 in the presence of Sh. Munnawar, area councillor and other prominent persons of the area.
While addressing the gathering, the Mayor said that keeping up their promise to make the ‘kacha’ area proper paved in between the EWS colonies, the MCC has started the laying and providing the paver blocks at a cost of Rs. 12 lacs from the Mayor Development Funds.
He said that during rains the ‘kacha’ area was converted in to muddy and local residents faced difficulty to their routine life.
The Mayor along with senior officers of MCC visited whole the EWS colony area to take stock of other issues related to Municipal Services and assured the residents to take up their issues on priority.
