Mayor expresses thanks over 150 cr special grant to MCC

Chandigarh, November 8:- Sh. Rajesh Kumar, Mayor of Chandigarh today extended warm thanks to Sh. V.P. Singh Badnore, Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh for releasing special grant of Rs. 150 crores to the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh.

While expressing his happiness over the release of grant, the Mayor said that it was made possible through the best efforts of each councilor of MCC and tireless job of Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Municipal Commissioner. He also extended thanks to Sh. Manoj Parida, IAS, Adviser to the Administrator, UT, Chandigarh for their best possible efforts for release of grant.

The Mayor said that today all the councilor led by the Mayor, met with the Governor of Punjab and Administrator, UT, Chandigarh regarding release of grant to the MCC. He said that the Administrator assured to release special grant for the development works of Manimajra area.
