*F&CC approves construction of internal streets at Gawala Colony, Maloya*

*Chandigarh, November 29:-* The Finance and Contract committee of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh has approved construction of internal streets by leveling and laying 80mm thick paver block at Gawala Colony and G.I. pipe railing in booth market Maloya Colony, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 45.38 lacs.

The F&CC meeting was held here today under the Chairmanship of Sh. Anup Gupta, Mayor and attended other members of committee namely Smt. Harpreet Kaur Babla, Smt. Prem Lata, Ms. Neha and other senior officers of MCC.

The members of committee discussed other various important agenda items in detail and accorded approval for the following: 

·    Providing, installing and commissioning of Fire Fighting System in Community Centre, Sector 44, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 27.37 lacs.

·        Extension of manpower engaged for Gaushala at Raipur Kalan, Chandigarh for a period of 6 months at an estimated cost of Rs. 12.50 lacs.

·        Providing office furniture for Community Centre Village Maloya & Providing Library furniture, bridal room furniture and miscellaneous items for Community Centre EWS Colony Maloya, Ward No. 28, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 7.82 lacs.

·        Providing and laying of 200mm (8”) i/d S.W. Pipeline for disposal of sewer of Judge Houses near Shiv Temple, Sector 10, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 5.27 lacs.

·        Providing and laying of 300 mm (12”), 450 mm (18”) & 600 mm (24”) I/D RCC NP-2 SWD pipeline for smooth disposal of storm water for Judge Near Houses near Shiv Temple, Sector -10, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 18.68 lacs.

* Providing and laying of Water supply pipe line from booster Sector 18-C to distribution line for increase the drinking water supply pressure Sector 18-A, Chandigarh at estimated cost of Rs. 23.45 lac.
