पंचकूला, 18 अक्तूबर उपायुक्त डाॅ यश गर्ग ने किसानों से पराली न जलाने की अपील की। उन्होने बताया कि किसान मशीनों का प्रयोग करके खेत में अवशेष मिला सकते हैं व बेलर द्वारा गांठ बनाकर उचित प्रबंध कर सरकार द्वारा चलाई जा रही स्कीम का एक हजार रूपये प्रति एकड तक का लाभ उठा सकते हैं। इससे किसानों को आर्थिक रूप से लाभ पहंुचेगा और पराली से पैदा होने वाले धुंए के प्रदूषण से भी बचा जा सकेगा।

उन्होने बताया कि जो किसान पराली जलाएगा उसके खिलाफ कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण विभाग द्वारा सरकार व सर्वोच्च न्यायालय के निर्देशानुसार एफआईआर दर्ज की जाएगी। इसके अलावा कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण विभाग द्वारा ऐसे किसानों की ‘‘मेरा फसल मेरा ब्यौरा‘‘ में ‘‘रेड एन्ट्री‘‘ दर्ज की जाएगी और दो सीजन तक  धान एवं गेहूं की मण्डी में बेचने पर बैन लगा दिया जाएगा।  

उन्होने बताया कि यह निर्णय अतिरिक्त मुख्य सचिव, कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण विभाग द्वारा माननीय सुप्रीम कोर्ट के निदेर्शो की अनुपालना में लिया गया है। इसके अतिरिक्त निदेशक, कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण विभाग के पत्र के माध्यम से पराली जलाने की रोकथाम और नियंत्रण के सम्बन्ध में अपने कर्तव्यों का निर्वहन ठीक से करने में विफल रहे तो नोडल अधिकारियों/कर्मचारियों के विरूद्ध सख्त कार्यवाही भी की जाएगी।

पंचकूला, 18 अक्तूबर उत्तर हरियाणा बिजली वितरण निगम उपभोक्ताओं को विश्वसनीय, अच्छी वोल्टेज और निर्बाध बिजली की आपूर्ति के लिए प्रतिबद्ध है। ‘पूर्ण उपभोक्ता संतुष्टि’ के लक्ष्य को प्राप्त करने के लिए बिजली निगम द्वारा अनेक महत्वाकांक्षी कार्यक्रम प्रारंभ किये गए हैं ताकि     उपभोक्ताओं की समस्याओं को त्वरित रूप में सुलझाया जा सके।


       इस संबंध में जानकारी देते हुए बिजली निगम के एक प्रवक्कता ने बताया कि जोनल उपभोक्ता शिकायत निवारण मंच रेगुलेशन 2.8.2 के अनुसार प्रत्येक मामले में 1 लाख रुपये से अधिक और 3 लाख रुपये तक की राशि के वित्तीय विवादों से संबंधित शिकायतों की सुनवाई करेगा। पंचकूला जोन के अंतर्गत आने वाले जिलों (कुरुक्षेत्र, अंबाला, पंचकूला, कैथल और यमुनानगर) के उपभोक्ताओं की शिकायतों का निवारण 21 और 28 अक्तूबर को जोनल उपभोक्ता शिकायत निवारण मंच, पंचकूला में उपभोक्ताओं की समस्याओं का समाधान किया जाएगा।


       उन्होंने बताया कि पंचकूला जोन के अंतर्गत आने वाले जिलों के उपभोक्ताओं के गलत बिलों, बिजली की दरों से सम्बंधित मामलों, मीटर सिक्योरिटी से जुड़े मामलों, खराब हुए मीटरों से सम्बंधित मामलों, वोल्टेज से जुड़े हुए मामलों का निस्तारण किया जाएगा। इस दौरान बिजली चोरी, बिजली के दुरूप्योग और घातक गैर-घातक दुर्घटना आदि मामलों पर विचार नहीं किया जाएगा। उपभोक्ता और निगम के बीच किसी भी विवाद के निपटान के लिए फोरम में वित्तिय विवादों से संबंधित शिकायत प्रस्तुत करने से पहले पिछले छह महीनों के दौरान उपभोक्ता द्वारा भुगतान किए गए बिजली के औसत शुल्क के आधार पर गणना की गई प्रत्येक माह के लिए दावा की गई राशि या उसके द्वारा देय बिजली शुल्क के बराबर राशि, जो कम है, उपभोक्ता को जमा करवानी होगी। इस दौरान उपभोक्ता को प्रमाणित करना होगा कि यह मामला अदालत, प्राधिकरण या फोरम के समक्ष पेंडिंग (लंबित) नहीं है क्योंकि इस न्यायालय या फोरम में विचाराधीन मामलों पर बैठक के दौरान विचार नहीं किया जाएगा।


       उत्तर हरियाणा बिजली वितरण निगम उपभोक्ताओं से अपील करता है कि वे अपनी बिजली से संबंधित समस्याओं के समाधान के लिए 21 और 28 अक्तूबर को यू.एच.बि.वि.एन के मुख्यालय, विद्युत सदन, इंडस्ट्रियल प्लाट-3 और 4, सेक्टर-14, पंचकूला में प्रातः 11ः30 बजे से दोपहर 1ः30 बजे तक होने वाली कार्यवाही में सम्मिलित होकर अपनी समस्याओं का समाधान करवाएं।

पंचकूला, 18 अक्तूबर- उपायुक्त यश गर्ग ने बताया कि सामाजिक न्याय एवं अधिकारिता मंत्रालय भारत सरकार द्वारा दिव्यांग छात्रों को शिक्षा के अवसर प्रदान करने के लिये छात्रवृति योजना-  प्री मैट्रिक, पोस्ट मैट्रिक ंतथा उच्च श्रेणी लागू की गई हैं। वित्त वर्ष 2024-25 में नेशनल स्काॅलरशिप पोर्टल पर दिव्यांग छात्रों द्वारा छात्रवृति के लिए आवेदन करने हेतु पोर्टल पर शुरू कर दिया गया।

उन्होंने बताया कि ये छात्रवृति योजनायें 40 प्रतिशत से अधिक दिव्यांग वाले छात्र/छात्राओं पर लागू है तथा आवेदक के पास सक्षम चिकित्सा प्राधिकारी द्वारा दिया गया दिव्यांग प्रमाण पत्र होना चाहिये। इसके अलावा पारिवारिक वार्षिक आय निर्धारित सीमा से अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिये।

श्री गर्ग ने बताया कि प्री मैट्रिक योजना में कक्षा 9वीं व 10वीं में पढ़ने वाले छात्र व पोस्ट मैट्रिक में कक्षा 11वीं से मास्टर डिग्री/डिप्लोमा करने वाले छात्र आवेदन कर सकते है। इसके लिए आवेदक के अभिभावक/संरक्षक की सभी साधनों से वार्षिक आय 2.50 लाख से अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिये। उन्होंने बताया कि दिव्यांग छात्रों की उच्च श्रेणी शिक्षा छात्रवृत्ति में स्नातकोत्तर डिग्री अथवा डिप्लोमा उत्कृष्टता के अधिसूचित संस्थानों वाले छात्र आवेदन कर सकते है। आवेदक के अभिभावक/संरक्षक की वार्षिक आय 8 लाख से अधिक नहीं होनी चाहिये।

उन्होंने बताया कि प्री मैट्रिक छात्रवृति योजना के तहत आवेदन करने की अंतिम तिथि 15 अक्तूबर 2024 तक कर दी गई है। पोस्ट मैट्रिक तथा उच्च श्रेणी छात्रवृति योजना के लिये आवेदन करने की अंतिम तिथि 31 अक्तूबर 2024 कर दी गई है। इन छात्रवृति योजनाओं के लिये आवेदक डीईपीडब्ल्यूडी की वेबसाईट www.depwd.gov.in     व  नेशनल स्कालरशिप पोर्टल www.scholarship.gov.in     पर आवेदन कर सकते है।

In recognition of their selfless service, SBM Brand Ambassador MX Kajal MangalMukhi led a cleanliness drive with citizens at Atmanirbhar Ward No. 35 in Sector 48 Market Public Convenience.

City Mayor Sh. Kuldeep Kumar expressed his gratitude to the “स्वच्छता सेवी” for their unwavering commitment to maintaining high standards at the facility, showcasing the spirit of inclusivity and accessibility for all.

Additionally, a massive citizen-led cleaning campaign was organized across 331 toilets (CT/PT) citywide, highlighting the power of community collaboration in promoting clean and hygienic facilities. Members of Market Welfare Associations (MWAs), Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and MC officers enthusiastically participated, demonstrating their dedication to the well-being of Chandigarh’s residents.

MC Commissioner Sh. Vinay Pratap Singh, IAS, acknowledged and supported the remarkable work carried out by the “स्वच्छता सेवी” in maintaining the city’s public conveniences. Their tireless efforts to make these facilities inclusive and accessible to all deserve commendation, underscoring the significant contributions they are making towards cleanliness and hygiene in Chandigarh.

The Commissioner further shared that Chandigarh is home to 331 public toilets, with an impressive 50% being diligently managed by MWAs, RWAs, SHGs, and NGOs. MCC remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring that these sanitation facilities meet the highest standards of hygiene and maintenance.

In its endeavor to uphold the highest standards of sanitation in public conveniences, enabling access to clean, safe, and hygienic sanitation facilities for all is paramount to the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh.

Furthermore, to enhance toilet features, beautification was undertaken through mural paintings at 52 toilets, and glow signage was installed at 36 facilities. In line with emission control and green energy initiatives, solar panels and inverters were installed in five toilets.

Moreover, MCC’s efforts in the sanitation sector are not just limited to the upkeep and maintenance of toilet facilities; it also envisions making them gender-inclusive, safe, easily accessible, and community-owned enterprises.

Surpassing national standards for toilet accessibility, public conveniences in Chandigarh can easily be located in all commercial areas, parks, gardens, green belts, and near habitations with marginalized populations.

The Public Health Department plays a crucial role in ensuring the community’s well-being through its endeavors. पंचकूला 15 अक्टूबर  – बाल दिवस 2024 के उपलक्ष पर जिला बाल कल्याण परिषद पंचकूला द्वारा उपायुक्त डा. यश गर्ग के मार्गदर्शन में जिला स्तर पर फैंसी ड्रेस, बेस्ट ड्रामेबाज, समूह व एकल नृत्य देशभक्ति गायन, एकल गायन प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया गया। इसकी अध्यक्षता कार्यक्रम अधिकारी श्रीमती मंजू चौधरी ने की।

उन्होंने बताया कि सभी प्रतियोगिताओं में लगभग 14 स्कूलों के 250 बच्चों ने अलग-अलग प्रतिभा अनुसार अपनी प्रस्तुति दी।

 इस मौके पर  जिला बाल कल्याण अधिकारी श्री भगत सिंह ने बताया कि बाल दिवस की सभी प्रतियोगिताएं जिला स्तर पर  14 से 23 अक्टूबर 2024 तक करवाई जाएगी और इन सभी प्रतियोगिताओं के विजेता डिवीजन लेवल पर अपनी प्रस्तुति देंगे।  

श्री भगत सिंह ने बताया कि इन प्रतियोगिताओं से बच्चों के सर्वांगीण विकास व अपनी प्रतिभा को निखारने का मौका मिलता है इस मौके पर सभी स्कूलों के अध्यापक /अध्यापिकाएं बच्चों के अभिभावक के साथ-साथ जिला बाल कल्याण परिषद पंचकूला के सभी कर्मचारी मौजूद थे।

पंचकूला, 15 अक्तूबर जिला नगर योजनाकार के नेतृत्व में आज सहायक नगर योजनाकार की टीम द्वारा नियत्रितं क्षेत्र रायुपर-रानी व अर्बन एरिया पंचकूला में एक अनाधिकृत काॅलोनीे के विरूद्ध तोड़-फोड़ की कार्यवाही की गई। इस कार्यवाही के दौरान गांव बड़ोना में अनाधिकृत काॅलानी रोड़ नेटवर्क को जेसीबी के द्वारा ध्वस्त किया गया। यह कार्यवाही ड्यूटी मैजिस्ट्रेट, अजमेर सिंह एवं भारी पुलिस बल की उपस्थिति में संपन्न हुई।


इस संबंध में जानकारी देते हुए सहायक नगर योजनाकार ने बताया कि अवैध काॅलानी को हटाने से पहले विभाग द्वारा नोटिस भी दिए गए थे, लेकिन इस निर्माण को नहीं हटाया गया, जिस कारण विभाग को यह कार्रवाई करनी पड़ी। उन्होंने बताया कि कोई भी निर्माण करने या कोई भी काॅलोनी विकसित करने से पहले निदेशक, नगर तथा ग्राम आयोजना विभाग हरियाणा, चंडीगढ़ से अनुमति लिए बिना कोई भी अवैध निर्माण या काॅलोनी विकसित की जाती है, तो विभाग उसके विरुद्ध कानूनी कार्यवाही करने के साथ-साथ अर्बन एरिया एक्ट-1975, पैरिफेरी नियंत्रित क्षेत्र-1952 तथा नियंत्रित क्षेत्र-1963 के तहत विभाग सख्त कानूनी कार्यवाही करता है।


उन्होने आम जनता से अपील करते हुए कहा कि विभाग से सी.एल.यु/लाईसेंस की अनुमति लिए बिना काटी गई काॅलोनियों में मकान या दुकान ना लें ताकि उनकी कड़ी मेहनत का पैसा बर्बाद न हो और अनाधिकृत अवैध निर्माणों पर रोक लग सके।

*Chandigarh, October 15:-* Sh. Kuldeep Kumar, Mayor, Chandigarh today visited village Kajheri and Sector 52 under “ Mayor Aapke Dwar” programme to reach out to the local residents to hear grievances related to MC Chandigarh.

The Mayor took round of the village today in the presence of Sh. Lakhbir Singh, area councilor and senior officers of MC, Chandigarh. Representatives from various area level federations, resident welfare associations and local residents were present during the visit.

The Mayor said that the MC Chandigarh would make proper arrangements to ensure that government benefits of schemes/programmes to reach at the right beneficiaries including providing and upgradation of basic amenities to the citizens of City Beautiful.

During the visit the Mayor asked the concerned engineers of Public Health wing to prepare estimates of strengthening storm water drainage system in the village Kajheri and resolve the overflow of sewerage system. The Mayor asked the concerned officers to maintain cleanliness in the surroundings of the village and place no litter signage in appropriate places.

The Mayor asked the Executive Engineer of B&R wing to take up the rest part of phirni road of the village Kajheri for upgradation and prepare estimates for the same before ensuing General House meeting.

Local residents raised their grievances during the visit including door to door waste collection, pruning of trees, providing of paver blocks, maintenance of parks, recarpeting of internal roads and problem of haphazard parking of vehicles in the area. The concerned officers noted down the complaints and assured the citizens for their early solution.

*Chandigarh, October 15:-* The Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh in association with the Centre for One Health, Guru Angad Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (GADVASU), Ludhiana and Dayanand Medical College & Hospital (DMCH), Ludhiana, conducted one day sensitization workshop at the Municipal Corporation Slaughter House, Chandigarh today.

The event was organized under the aegis of Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) project titled on Building a Surveillance Model for Detecting Zoonotic Spillover in Increased Animal-Human Interaction Settings Using a One Health Approach: A Study at Selected slaughterhouses.

The workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Inderdeep Kaur, Medical Officer (Health), Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh, Dr. JS Bedi, Director, Centre for One Health, Dr. Veenu Gupta, Professor, Microbiology and Dr. Harmanmeet Kaur from ICMR, New Delhi. More than 30 slaughterhouse personnel attended this workshop.

The objective of this workshop was to acknowledge slaughterhouse workers and associated personnel, aiming to raise awareness about occupational exposure to the zoonotic diseases (diseases transmissible from animals to human) and the risks of animal-to-human disease transmission in high-contact environments. The Participants were educated on the basics of zoonotic diseases, occupational exposure routes, prevention of these diseases along with maintenance of good hygiene and sanitation practices at the working environment.

Dr. Inderdeep Kaur emphasized the vital role of collaboration between municipal health authorities and researchers in addressing diseases transmissible from animals to human. Dr. JS Bedi highlighted the importance of usage of protective gear while handling the animals during slaughter operations. Dr. Veenu depicted the importance of hand hygiene to the participants. ICMR personnel Dr. Harman interacted with the slaughterhouse workers and briefed them about the project mandates and how it will be helpful for the society and the slaughterhouse workers with the aim to supply safe and wholesome meat to the consumer. Dr. Gaurav Lakhanpal, Superintendent slaughterhouse thanked the experts and participants ensuring the productive liaisons between all the stakeholders.

Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Panjab University (PU), in collaboration with the PU Department of Sports organized a cleanliness drive at the Sports Hostel, Panjab University. 

The students and volunteers cleaned the hostel corridors and lawns with great enthusiasm. They also motivated the visitors to dispose of waste properly in designated bins and maintain cleanliness in their surroundings.

Sh. Birbal Wadhera, Warden of the Sports Hostel, led the initiative and encouraged the students and volunteers to join the event and contribute towards waste management, sanitation monitoring, and public awareness.

Dr. Anuj Kumar, Coordinator of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, encouraged everyone to instil cleanliness values, actively participate, and contribute to a cleaner campus.
