B.A B.Ed aptitude test was conducted successfully for the admission of first year of B.A. B.Ed. course here today at two centres ; Institute of Educational Technology & Vocational Education and Examination Hall, Panjab University. For the 50 seats of the course, 418 candidates appeared in the exam out of total 860 candidates who applied for it. No untoward incident was reported. Faculty members, non-teaching staff and helping staff were dedicatedly involved in the smooth conduct of the examination. Thirty senior students of B.A. B.Ed. course have performed their duties as volunteers at both the centers and at three main gates of University to help the applicants and their parents.

All those candidates, who have applied for admission to MA (Punjabi) 1st Semester, session 2019-2020, are hereby informed that the date of counseling for the admission to M.A. (Punjabi) will be held on 23.7.2019 at 10.00 a.m. in the office of Chairperson.
Eligibility for M.A Punjabi 50% in Graduate course with compulsory Punjabi and 45% for SC/ST candidates. Admission will be on merit basis for 68 seats. The 15% weightage will be given to the student those who studied Punjabi as a elective subject at graduate level. The student who studied Hons. Punjabi in graduation also given 15% weightage but those who have elective Punjabi and Hons. (both) will be given 20% weightage. The other weightage will be such as NSS, NCC and any other curricular activities will be given as per grading their certificate maximum upto 5%.

पहले आओ-पहले पाओ के आधार पर दिया जाएगा योजना का लाभ
कृषि एवं किसान कल्याण विभाग द्वारा जिला में कृषि विभाग द्वारा वर्ष 2019-20 के दौरान केन्द्र सरकार के नई इन-सीटू क्रोप रेजीडयू मैनेजमेंट स्कीम के तहत आवेदन आमंत्रित किये गए हैं। इच्छुक आवेदक 10 अगस्त तक अपने आवेदन कर सकते हैं।
यह जानकारी देते हुए सहायक कृषि अभियंता जसविंद्र सिंह ने बताया कि जो सहकारी सोसाइटियां, एफपीओ, स्वंय सहायता समूह, रजिस्ट्रड किसान सोसाइटी/किसान समूह, प्राईवेट उद्यमी, महिला किसान समूह या स्वंय सहायता समूह पहले आवेदन से वंचित रह गए थे वे अब 10 अगस्त तक अपने आवेदन कर सकते हैं।
उन्होने बताया कि जिला में इन सीटू अवशेष प्रबंधन कृषि यंत्र एसएमएस सिस्टम के लिए सभी खण्ड एंव शर्ब मास्टर कटटर कम स्प्रेडर के लिए खण्ड डबवाली, ऐलनाबाद एंव सिरसा के किसान पहले आओ-पहल पाओ के आधार पर लक्ष्य प्राप्ति तक आवेदन कर सकते है। इसके अतिरिक्त स्कीम के बारे मे विस्तृत जानकारी के लिए उप कृषि निदेशक/सहायक कृषि अभियंता सिरसा कार्यालय में सम्पर्क कर सकते है।

पीसी एवं पीएनडीटी एक्ट व बेटी बचाओ बेटी पढाओ अभियान के तहत जिला स्तरीय कार्यशाला का आयोजन जिला समुचित प्राधिकारी के अध्यक्ष एवं सिविल सर्जन डा.गोविन्द गुप्ता की अध्यक्षता में जिला प्रशिक्षण केंद्र सिरसा में किया गया।
कार्यशाला में सिविल सर्जन डॉ. गोविन्द गुप्ता ने पीसी एवं पीएनडीटी एक्ट के बारे में विस्तार से जानकारी देते हुए इसकी सख्ती से अनुपालना करवाने के निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिये कि समय-समय पर अल्ट्रासाउंड केंद्रों के निरीक्षण करें। उन्होंने कहा कि पीसी एवं पीएनडीटी एक्ट के नियमों का उल्लंघना करने वालों के बारे में यदि कोई भी गुप्त सूचना प्राप्त होती है तो उस पर तुरंत आगामी कार्यवाही की जाएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि जिन गांवों में लिंगानुपात 800 से कम है उस बारे में सम्बंधित वरिष्ठ चिकित्सा अधिकारी / प्रभारी चिकित्सा अधिकारी को गंभीरता से कार्य करें ताकि लिंगानुपात को सुधारा जा सके।
बैठक में उप सिविल सर्जन डा. विरेश भूषण ने लिंगानुपात के बारे में गंभीरता से कार्य करने की आवश्यकता पर बल दिया। इस मौके पर विधिक सहायक द्वारा चिकित्सकों को कानूनी रूप से आने वाली शंकाओं को भी दूर किया गया। कार्यशाला में गुप्त सूचना प्राप्त होने की स्थिति में आगामी की जाने वाली कार्यवाही के बारे भी प्रशिक्षण दिया गया। कार्यशाला में भारत सरकार द्वारा जारी एसओजी के बारे में भी विस्तारपूर्वक चर्चा की गयी।
इस कार्यशाला में जिला के सभी वरिष्ठ चिकित्सा अधिकारी, प्रभारी चिकित्सा अधिकारी सहित उप सिविल सर्जन, विधिक सहायक पीएनडीटी, नोडल अधिकारी पीएनडीटी व अन्य अधिकारीयों ने भाग लिया।

यह जानकारी देते हुए सरकारी प्रवक्ता ने बताया कि राज्यमंत्री कल 13 जुलाई को प्रात: 10 बजे गांव जगमालवाली, 11 बजे मांगेआना, 12 बजे देसूजोधा, दोपहर 1 बजे अलीकां मेें पहुंचकर ग्रामीण जनसभा को संबोधित करेंगे। इसी प्रकार मंत्री दोपहर बाद 2 बजे गांव शेरगढ, 3 बजे गांव मसीतां, 4 बजे गांव लंबी तथा 5 बजे गांव मुन्नांवाली में जनसभाएं करेंगे।

जुलाई माह के शनिवार व रविवार को मतदान केंद्र भवनों पर बनेंगे नये वोट
उपायुक्त अशोक कुमार गर्ग ने बताया कि भारत के निर्वाचन आयोग की हिदायतोनुसार 1 जनवरी 2019 को आधार तिथि मानकर जिला के सभी पांचों विधानसभा क्षेत्र की मतदाता सूचियों का 15 जुलाई को प्रारंभिक प्रकाशन किया जाएगा। उन्होंने बताया कि जिले में पडऩे वाली विधानसभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों नामत: 42-कालांवाली (अ.जा.) 43-डबवाली, 44-रानियां, 45-सिरसा तथा 46-ऐलनाबाद की मतदाता सूचियों का प्रारम्भिक प्रकाशन निर्वाचन क्षेत्रों के लिये स्थापित सभी 994 मतदान केन्द्र भवनों पर करवाया जायेगा ।
वे आज आगामी विधानसभा चुनावों के लिए की जाने वाली तैयारियों बारे वीडियो कॉफ्रेंस के माध्यम से जिला की मतदाता सूचियों बारे जानकारी देने उपरांत संबंधित अधिकारियों व कर्मचारियों को संबोधित कर रहे थे। इस अवसर पर चुनाव तहसीलदार सहित चुनाव कानूनगों उपस्थित थे।
उन्होंने बताया कि मतदाता सूचियों के विशेष संक्षिप्त पुनरीक्षण कार्यक्रम के तहत 1 जनवरी 2019 को आधार तिथि मानकर 18 वर्ष या इससे अधिक आयु के पात्र व्यक्तियों के वोट बनाए जाएंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि उक्त आधार तिथि के तहत जो कोई युवक व युवति 18 वर्ष या इससे अधिक उम्र प्राप्त हो चुके वे अपना नाम दर्ज करवाने के लिये अपने क्षेत्र के अन्र्तगत आने वाले सम्बन्धित मतदान केन्द्र पर जाकर प्रपत्र-6 में आवेदन कर सकते हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि नये वोट बनवाने व इससे संबंधित कार्य के लिए विशेष तिथियां घोषित की गई है। इन तिथियों पर संबंधित बीएलओ मतदान केंद्रों पर उपस्थित रहेकर नये वोट के संबंध में आवेदन प्राप्त करेंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि चुनाव आयोग के अनुसार 20 व 21 तथा 27 व 28 जुलाई को विशेष तिथि माना गया है। इन चारों दिन संबंधित बीएलओ सुबह से लेकर शाम तक उपस्थित रहकर लोगों से फार्म 6, 7 व 8 प्राप्त करेंगे। उन्होंने कहा कि सभी बीएलओ नये वोट बनवाने बारे लोगों को जागरूक करें तथा उन्हें आवेदन करने में सहयोग करें। उन्होंने कहा कि आवेदक अपने आवेदन प्रपत्र-6 को हिन्दी व अंग्रेजी दोनों भाषाओं में भरकर, उसके साथ दो पासपोर्ट आकार की रंगीन फोटो, सामान्य निवास व जन्मतिथि के प्रमाण के दस्तावेज की सत्यापित प्रतियॉ, संलग्न करके आवेदन पर निश्चित स्थान पर अपना मोबाईल नं0 व हस्ताक्षर अंकित करके मतदान स्तर अधिकारी के पास 30 जुलाई 2019 तक की अवधि में जमा करवा सकते हैं।
जिला निर्वाचन अधिकारी एवं उपायुक्त ने यह भी बताया कि वर्तमान मतदाता सूची में यदि किसी अपात्र व्यक्ति का नाम दर्ज है या किसी मतदाता की मृत्यु हो चुकी हो, या कोई स्थान छोड़ कर जा चुके हों एसे अपात्र दर्ज मतदाताओं के नाम मतदाता सूची से हटवाने हेतु प्रपत्र-7 में आपत्ति दर्ज की जा सकती है, यदि किसी मतदाता के मतदाता सूची में विवरण अशुद्ध दर्ज है या फोटो मिसमैच है तो वे भी प्रपत्र-8 में विवरण शुद्धि हेतु अपना आवदेन प्रस्तुत कर सकते हैं। आवेदन प्रपत्र 6, 6क, 7, 8, 8क आम जनता को मतदान केन्द्र भवनों पर ही मतदान स्तर अधिकारी निशुल्क उपलब्ध करवायेंगे।
उपायुक्त ने जिलावासियों अपील की कि वह फोटोयुक्त मतदाता सूची में नाम दर्ज करवाने हेतु अपना फार्म अवश्य भरकर जमा करवायें। इसके अतिरिक्त कुछ व्यक्तियों ने जिन्होने ने नगरपालिका/पंचायत के चुनाव की मतदाता सूची में अपना नाम दर्ज करवाने हेतु फार्म भरा था लेकिन उनके नाम विधान सभा की फोटोयुक्त मतदाता सूची में नहीं है, ऐसे पात्र व्यक्तियों को अपना नाम दर्ज करवाने हेतु फार्म नं0 6 भरकर अवश्य जमा करवाना होगा । उन्होंने कहा कि यदि कोई बूथ लेवल अधिकारी अपने कार्य में कोताही बरतता है तो उसके खिलाफ कार्यवाही अमल में लाई जाएगी।

Third day of the Induction programme belonged to entrepreneurs in the field of Hospitality and Travel and Tourism. Chef Naman Arora (Owner at Naman Pizza and Barbeque) enriched students with real life examples of various successful entrepreneurs. He emphasized upon the skill development for the future success.
