Chandigarh, March 19:- A meeting of Water supply and sewerage disposal Committee of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh was held here today under the chairmanship of Sh. Anil Kumar Dubey and attended by other members of the committee namely Sh. Jagtar Singh Jagga, Sh. Hardeep Singh Butrela, Sh. Bharat Kumar, Sh. Rajesh Gupta, Sh. Dalip Sharma and concerned officials of MCC.

During the meeting various issues regarding strengthening of water supply and sewerage disposal system were discussed and resolved the following agenda items:

·        The members of committee recommended the provision of 5 succession machines for sewerage cleaning in the public health wing and asked the concerned officers to prepare agenda item for the house meeting.

·        The committee asked for proper mapping of underground utilities including water supply lines and sewer lines alongwith storm water drainage system according to actual distance from the roads and underground electricity lines.

·        The members asked the engineers to provide sufficient fuel in all the tubewells to run the generator sets during the electricity shut downs.

·        The committee asked that location be identified to provide tubewell at village faidan and estimate be put up in the next meeting.

·        The members asked the concerned engineers to prepare estimates regarding sewerage cleaning in colonies and villages at the earliest.

·        The committee accorded approval for providing and laying of 6” i/d DI pipe line from existing tubewell booster at sector 31-D to existing CI pipe line to improve the water pressure near police station, sector 31-C at an estimated cost of Rs. 22.21 lacs.

·        Providing and installation of 160 KV diesel gen set alongwith dewatering pumps and allied works contingent thereto at water works Kajauli Aug. water supply scheme phase 3, near Morinda at an estimated cost of Rs. 24.94 lacs.

·        Rough Cost Estimate for providing, laying, jointing, testing & commissioning of 4” DI pipe line for interconnection newly bored tubewell, sector 20 D with existing booster sector 21-C at an estimated cost of Rs. 15.79 lacs.

गृह मंत्रालय ने शस्त्र संशोधन अधिनियम-2019 के तहत की हिदायतें जारी


                  भारत सरकार के गृह मंत्रालय द्वारा शस्त्र संशोधन अधिनियम-2019 के कार्यांवयन के संबंध में एक अधिसूचना जारी की गई है। जारी हिदायतों के अनुसार शस्त्र लाइसेंस पर दर्ज दो से अधिक हथियारों को जमा करवाना अनिवार्य है। जिला में ऐसे शस्त्र लाईसैंस धारक जिनके पास दो से अधिक हथियार हैं, वे 13 दिसंबर 2020 तक जमा करवा दें।


                  यह जानकारी देते हुए उपायुक्त रमेश चंद्र बिढान ने बताया कि अधिनियम के तहत सशस्त्र लाइसेंस के प्रयोजन के लिए लाइसेंस शब्द परिभाषित किया गया हैं जिसमें इलैक्ट्रानिक्स रूप में जारी किया गया लाईसेंस शामिल हैं। एक लाईसेंस पर फायर आम्र्स की संख्या तीन फायर आम्र्स की बजाए दो फायर आम्र्स को प्रतिबंधित किया गया हैं। जिसके अन्तर्गत दो से अधिक हथियारों को जमा करवाना अनिवार्य है। इसलिए जिला के शस्त्र लाइसेंस धारक लाइसैंस पर दर्ज दो से अधिक हथियारों को 13 दिसंबर 2020 से पहले पास के पुलिस प्रभारी या पंजीकृत आम्र्ज डीलर के पास जमा करवा दें। निर्धारित तिथि तक हिदायतों की पालना न करने वालों के खिलाफ नियमानुसार कार्रवाई अमल में लाई जाएगी।

सड़क सुरक्षा नियमों की गंभीरता से हो पालना, ओवरलोडिंग वाहनों के करें चालान : डीसी बिढ़ान


                 उपायुक्त रमेश चंद्र बिढ़ान ने कहा कि सड़क सुरक्षा संबंधी नियमों पर गंभीरता से पालना सुनिश्चित की जाए और हादसों में अंकुश के लिए जरुरी कदम उठाए जाएं। इसके अलावा नियमों की अवहेलना करने वाले वाहन चालकों तथा ओवरलोडिंग वाहनों के चालान किए जाएं।


                  उपायुक्त बिढ़ान बुधवार को कैंप कार्यालय में जिला सड़क सुरक्षा कमेटी व सुरक्षित स्कूल वाहन पॉलिसी बैठक की अध्यक्षता कर रहे थे। इस बैठक में अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त मनदीप कौर, एसडीएम सिरसा जयवीर यादव, एसडीएम कालांवाली निर्मल नागर, एसडीएम डबवाली डा. विनेश, महाप्रबंधक हरियाणा राज्य परिवहन केआर कौशल सहित अन्य विभागों के अधिकारी मौजूद थे।

                  उपायुक्त ने कहा कि बरनाला रोड़ पर सड़क के बीच लगे बिजली के खंभों को हटाया जाए और पेड़ों की छटाइ करवाई जाए। इसके अलावा ब्लैक स्पॉट को चिह्निïत कर मार्किंग व लाइटिंग के साथ-साथ पेड़ों पर भी पेंट करवाया जाए। उन्होंने निर्देश दिए कि शहर में जाम की स्थिति से निपटने व ऑटो के कारण होने वाले हादसों में कमी के लिए अलग से ऑटो स्टैंड बनाए जाएं। नियमों की पालना न करने वाले ऑटो चालकों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की जाए। उन्होंने नगर परिषद को निर्देश दिए कि शहर में अवैध रुप से लगे फ्लेक्स को तुरंत प्रभाव से हटाया जाए और संभावित दुर्घटना प्वाइंटों पर सांकेतिक बोर्ड व अवैध पार्किंग करने वालों के चालान किए जाए। उन्होंने निर्देश दिए कि संबंधित विभाग जिला में सड़कों के बीच में बने गड्डïों को जल्द से जल्द भरवाए ताकि सड़क पर पानी का जमाव न हो।


                  उपायुक्त ने कहा कि सड़क सुरक्षा के लिए संबंधित विभाग सड़क सुरक्षा उपायों बारे अपनी-अपनी गतिविधियां करें ताकि आमजन में सड़क सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरुकता पैदा हो। उन्होंने कहा कि पुलिस विभाग को मोबाइल फोन का प्रयोग, सीट बैल्ट, हैलमेट कैम्पेन के माध्यम से आमजन को जागरुक करें। इसके अलावा संबंधिता विभाग सड़कों व फुटपाथ से पेड़ों की अवरोधक टहनियां हटाना, परिवहन विभाग द्वारा वाहनों की चैकिंग करना, स्वास्थ्य विभाग द्वारा ग्राम पंचायतों व रोड़ों पर बने ढाबे व दुकानों का दौरा कर जागरुक करने के निर्देश दिए। हरियाणा पुलिस द्वारा ट्रेफिक नियमों की सख्त चैकिंग की जाए व रोड़ संकेतों, कैट आई, जेब्रा क्रॉसिंग व रिफ्लेक्टर लगाए जाएं और आवारा पशुओं को पकड़ कर गौशाला भिजवाएं। पैदल यात्रियों के लिए सड़क के दोनों किनारों पर मार्किंग के साथ-साथ फुटपाथों की मुरम्मत करवाने के निर्देश दिए।


उपायुक्त ने कहा कि संबंधित विभाग समय-समय पर स्कूल वाहनों की जांच कर यह सुनिश्चित करें कि स्कूल बस में सुरक्षा उपकरणों की कमी न हो। स्कूल बस पर चालक के मोबाइल नम्बर के साथ-साथ एम्बुलेंस, पुलिस व स्कूल का दूरभाष नम्बर जरुर अंकित हो और बस में प्राथमिक उपचार किट भी अवश्य हो।

Chandigarh, March 18:- A meeting of Roads Committee of Municipal Corporation Chandigarh was held here today under the chairmanship of Sh. Shakti Parkash Devshali and attended by other members of the committee namely Sh. Jagtar Singh, Sh. Gurpreet Singh Dhillon, Sh. Anil Kumar Dubey, Sh. Mahesh Inder Singh Siddhu, Sh. Bharat Kumar, Sh. Davinder Singh Babla and concerned officials of MCC.

During the meeting various issues regarding B&R wing were discussed and resolved the following agenda items:

·        The members of committee asked concerned officers to table action taken report of all works of B&R wing alongwith Ward Development Funds and MPLAD funds in the next meeting.

·        The committee discussed the issue of strengthening of B&R wing alongwith provision of adequate machinery and decided that detailed report in this regard be put up in the next meeting.

·        Report of road length of V-3, V-4, V-5 and V-6 roads falling under the jurisdiction of Municipal Corporation be prepared and put up in the next meeting to resolve repair work and patch work according to priority.

·        The members were of the view that accurate measurement of job be taken in advance before preparing estimates of repair works to avoid delay in minor repair works etc.

·        Rough Cost Estimate for providing and fixing PCC tiles in front of booth market, sector 41-D at an estimated cost of Rs. 3.93 lacs.

·        RCE for construction of parking after dismantling of is-land in existing car Bazar parking near Ram Darbar, Hallomajra, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 18.19 lacs.

·        Revised RCE for providing and fixing 80mm thick paver blocks on internal roads in village Buterla, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 18.99 lacs.

·        RCE for special repair of existing cracks & spelled concrete in Fire Station building, sector 32, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 5.99 lacs.

·        RCE for construction of sealing wall and increasing of existing sealing on V-3 road between sector 32 & 33 at an estimated cost of Rs. 3.50 lacs.

·        RCE for repair of paver blocks footpath damaged/depressed/broken portion along V-4 & V-5 road in sector 31 at an estimated cost of Rs. 15.55 lacs.

·        RCE for repair of paver blocks footpath damaged/depressed/broken portion along V-4 & V-5 road in sector 47 at an estimated cost of Rs. 16.01 lacs.

·        RCE for providing and fixing GI pipe railing (near Kirpal Ashram) sector 27 & infront of Mango Garden, Sector 28 at an estimated cost of Rs. 1.23 lacs.

·        RCE for special repair of Dharmshala at village Khudda Lahora at an estimated cost of Rs. 14.26 lacs.

·        RCE for special repair/maintenance of back service lanes in sector 2 to 5 at an estimated cost of Rs. 23.57 lacs.

·        RCE for special repair of anganwari/AMU center at Sarangpur village, Chandigarh at an estimated cost of Rs. 2.70 lacs.

·        RCE for special repair and renovation of Harijan Dharmshala at Sarangpur village at an estimated cost of Rs. 3.76 lacs.

·        RCE for repair of internal gullies of village Dhanas & Sarangpur at an estimated cost of Rs. 10.17 lacs.

·        RCE for repair 60mm thick paver blocks infront of H.No. 1 to 14 and H.No. 15 to 28 along V-4 road and backside of motor market in sector 21 at an estimated cost of Rs. 13.97 lacs.

·        RCE for providing and fixing of 80mm thick paver blocks along phirni road in village Maloya at an estimated cost of Rs. 18.15 lacs.

·        The Committee also resolved that the development works related to the villages be got done through the special village development fund.

कोरोना वायरस से डरें नहीं, अफवाहों व भ्रामक प्रचार से बचें : उपायुक्त


            उपायुक्त रमेश चंद्र बिढान ने कहा कि जिला में कोरोना वायरस के बचाव को लेकर व्यापक प्रबंध किए गए हैं। कोरोना वायरस के फैलाव को रोकने के लिए अगले दस दिन महत्वपूर्ण है, इसलिए नागरिक स्वच्छता अपनाएं और अपने आसपास भी स्वच्छ वातावरण बनाएं रखें। इसके अलावा नागरिक किसी भी प्रकार की अफवाहों या भ्रामक प्रचार से डरे नहीं और कोरोना वायरस से संबंधित गलत सूचना तथा अफवाह फैलाने वाले की सूचना तुरंत प्रशासन को दें।


            उपायुक्त रमेश चंद्र बिढ़ान ने कहा कि अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए गए हैं कि कोरोना वायरस से बचाव संबंधी सेनेटाइजर व मास्क की कालाबाजारी तथा नकली ब्रांड की जांच के लिए लगातार मेडिकल स्टोर का निरीक्षण करें। कालाबाजारी व नकली दवाइयां बेचने वाले के खिलाफ स त से स त कानूनी कार्रवाई की जाएगी। उन्होंने कहा कि कोरोना वायरस के संबंध में अफवाह फैलाना, गलत जानकारी देना या कोई जानकारी छुपाना भी अपराध की श्रेणी में आता है। नागरिक कोरोना वासरस के संबंध में अफवाहों से बचें और गलत अफवाह फैलाने वाले की जानकारी जिला प्रशासन को दें। जिला प्रशासन कोरोना वायरस के दृष्टिïगत पूरी तरह से सतर्क है और कोरोना की रोकथाम के लिए समुचित प्रबंध किए गए  हैं। उन्होंने कहा कि अगर किसी व्यक्ति में विदेश से वापिस आने पर सर्दी, खांसी, जुकाम, बुखार या फिर निमोनिया के लक्षण से मिलते जुलते लक्षण पाए जाते हैं तो तुरंत जिला स्वास्थ्य विभाग के दूरभाष न बर 01666-241155 व हैल्पलाइन न बर 108 पर सूचित करे।

भीड़ से रहें दूर, घरों के खिड़की दरवाजे खोल कर रखें


            उपायुक्त बिढ़ान ने बताया कि आमजन अधिक भीड़ वाले स्थान या मेलों में आने से परहेज करें और ज्यादा जरूरी होने पर ही यात्रा करें। इसके अलावा अपने घरों के दरवाजे व खिड़कियां खुली रखें। उन्होंने कहा कि कोरोना वायरस से बचाव के लिए खुले व हवादार कमरे होने चाहिए और ए.सी. का प्रयोग न करें। इसके अलावा खाने पीने की चीजों पर विशेष ऐहतियात बरतें, विशेषकर बच्चों को ठंडी चीजें न खाने दें।

नागरिक करें जिला प्रशासन का सहयोग


            जिला प्रशासन द्वारा कोरोना वायरस से बचाव व सावधानियां को लेकर चलाई जा रही जागरूकता अभियान में नागरिक सहयोग करें। कोरोना वायरस को लेकर किसी प्रकार का भ्रामक प्रचार न करें और न ही किसी को करने दें। यदि कोई ऐसा करता है तो उसकी सूचना प्रशासन को दें। किसी भी प्रकार की अफवाह व भ्रामक प्रचार करने वालों के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई अमल में लाई जाएगी। इसके अलावा सेनेटाइजर का प्रयोग करें या साबुन से अच्छी तरह हाथ धोएं। हाथों को साबुन से धोते समय अच्छे से उंगलियों के बीच, हथेलियों व नाखुनों को कम से कम एक से डेढ मिनट तक जरूर साफ करें और तोलियों प्रयोग की बजाए हाथों को हवा में सुखने दें।

1000 प्रतिबंधित नशीली गोलियों सहित एक महिला गिरफ्तार

सिरसा। नशा तस्करों के खिलाफ जिला पुलिस द्वारा चलाए जा रहे अभियान के तहत कार्रवाई करते हुए थाना शहर डबवाली पुलिस ने गश्त व चैकिंग के दौरान गांव डबवाली क्षेत्र से एक महिला को एक हजार प्रतिबंधित नशीली गोलियों के साथ गिरफ्तार किया है । गिरफ्तार की गई महिला की पहचान चरणजीत कौर उर्फ रानी पत्नी गुरमेल सिंह पुत्र अवतार सिंह निवासी वार्ड नं. 17, टिब्बा बस्ती, डबवाली के रूप में हुई है। इस सिलसिले में थाना शहर डबवाली प्रभारी सब इंस्पैक्टर सत्यवान ने बताया कि गिरफ्तार की गई महिला से सप्लायर के बारे में नाम पता मालूम कर दो लोगों के खिलाफ थाना शहर डबवाली में मादक पदार्थ अधिनियम के तहत अभियोग दर्ज कर लिया गया है । उन्होंने बताया कि थाना शहर डबवाली पुलिस के उप निरीक्षक जगदीश कुमार के नेतृत्व में एक पुलिस टीम गस्त व चैकिंग के दौरान गांव डबवाली क्षेत्र में मौजूद थी । इसी दौरान सामने से आ रही महिला ने पुलिस पार्टी को देखकर वापिस मुड़कर भागने की कोशिश की तो शक के बिनाह पर उक्त महिला को रोककर तलाशी लेने पर उसके कब्जा से 1000 प्रतिबंधित नशीली गोलियां बरामद हुई। गिरफ्तार की गई महिला को अदालत में पेश किया जाएगा।

प्ंाचकूला 17 मार्च- राज्य सरकार के निर्देशानुसार कोरोना संक्रमण को लेकर माता मनसा देवी श्राईन बोर्ड ने निर्णय लिया है कि मनसा देवी मंदिर पंचकूला एवं कालका स्थित माता काली मंदिर को आगामी आदेशों तक श्रद्वालुओं के लिए बंद कर दिया गया है। इसके अलावा सभी मन्दिरों के पुजारियों को 31 मार्च तक मन्दिरों मंे लगी सभी बडी एवं छोटी घण्टियों को उतारने के आदेश दिए गए है। 

यह जानकारी देते हुए उपायुक्त मुकेश कुमार आहूजा ने बताया कि सभी श्रद्वालुओं के लिए माता मनसा देवी व कालका मंदिर का लाईव दर्शन श्राईन बोर्ड की वेबसाईट पर किए जा सकते है। इसलिए श्रद्वालुओं से घर बैठकर ही पूजा व दर्शन करने का अनुरोध किया गया है। उन्होंने बताया कि श्रद्वालु वेबसाईट ीजजचरूध्ध्उंदेंकमअपण्वतहण्पद पर माता के सीधे लाईव पूजा पाठ व दर्शन कर सकते है।

उपायुक्त ने बताया कि जिला के 13 मंदिरों में अधिक श्रद्वालु अधिक आते है। इसलिए विशेषकर इन मंदिरों को बंद कर दिया गया है। इनमें माता मनसा देवी, काली माता मंदिर कालका, नैना देवी मंदिर कालका, चण्डी मंदिर, दुर्गा मंदिर सैक्टर 9 पंचकूला, दुर्गा मंदिर सैक्टर 11, शमलासन माता मंदिर रायपुररानी, माता दाती मंदिर रायपुररानी, काली माता मंदिर बनी, मोरनी, शमलासन माता मंदिर सामलोठा, मोरनी, शारदा माता मंदिर छोटा त्रिलोकपुर, श्री लक्ष्मी नारायण मंदिर सैक्टर 6 पंचकूला, श्री दुर्गा मंदिर सैक्टर 7 पंचकूला शामिल है। 

उपायुक्त ने आम नागरिकों से अपील की है कि वे मंदिरों में पूजा करने की बजाय घर पर बैठकर ही लाईव दर्शन एवं पूजा पाठ करें।  इसके अलावा अभिभावकों को बच्चों के जन्म दिन, किट्टी पार्टी जैसे सामाजिक सामारोह करने से गुरेज करें ताकि इस संक्रमण को फैलने से रोका जा सके। उन्होंने कहा कि आॅपन फुड स्टाल में खाते समय और सब्जी मण्डी में भी दूकानों के बीच दो मीटर दूरी रखे।

Chief Engineer & SE inspects road recarpeting work at sector 9/4

Chandigarh, March 17:- Following the orders of Sh. K.K. Yadav, IAS, Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Chandigarh a team of engineers of B&R circle of MCC conducted inspection of recarpeting work of road at sector 9/4 here today under chairmanship of Sh. Shailendra Singh, Chief Engineer accompanied by Sh. Sanjay Arora, Superintending Engineer, B&R and concerned Executive Engineer, Sub Divisional Engineer and contractor.

During the inspection it was found that the approved job mix formula and allotment letter was not available at site moreover, the percentage of bitumen in tack coat cannot be established since the plate to test the same was not available at site. Bitumen extraction, it was conducted and it was found that bitumen is as per job mix formula. The density on non nuclear density gauge was conducted and found 2202.5 kg/cum at 92.2% and compaction temperature of the material was found 39.2’C.

In view of the inspection, the Executive Engineer Road division No.3 was directed to examine the facts and ensure that the work is being executed strictly as per DNIT and MORTH specifications. The report in this regard shall be submitted with recommendations before making any payment to the contractual agency.
