पंचकूला 24 नवंबर – भारत रत्न डॉ. बी.आर. अम्बेडकर महासभा व श्री गुरु रविदास सभा द्वारा 26 नवंबर, 2024 मंगलवार को श्री गुरु रविदास भवन, सेक्टर 15 में संविधान दिवस समारोह का आयोजन किया जाएगा।

सभा के महासचिव जयबीर सिंह रंगा ने बताया कि समारोह में रजिस्ट्रार सहकारी समितियां हरियाणा राजेश जोगपाल बतौर मुख्य अतिथि शामिल होंगे और समारोह की अध्यक्षता महाप्रबंधक, पर्यटन इंद्रजीत रंगा करेंगे।

संविधान दिवस पर भूतपूर्व जज रेलवे क्लेम्स ट्रिब्यूनल सुरेंद्र कुमार जाटव मुख्य वक्ता होंगे। पूर्व विधायक व समाजसेवी चौधरी लहरी सिंह व पूर्व मुख्य अभियंता सिंचाई विभाग सरदार हरपाल सिंह विशिष्ट अतिथियों सहित अन्य गणमान्य व्यक्ति समारोह में शामिल होंगे।

उन्होंने बताया कि संविधान दिवस पर सांय 5 बजे आयोजित समारोह में पंजाब के प्रसिद्ध प्रगति कला केंद्र, लांदड़ा, जालंधर के मिशनरी कलाकारों द्वारा कोरियोग्राफी व नाटक का मंचन मुख्य आकर्षण होगा। बच्चों व युवाओं के लिए समारोह विशेष रूप से मनोरंजक व प्रेरणा से भरपूर रहेगा।

कार्यक्रम उपरांत डिविजनल टाउन प्लानर एचएसआईडीसी श्रीमती प्रियंका कटारिया एवं परिवार की ओर से गुरु का अटूट लंगर बरताया जाएगा। सभी नागरिकों से अनुरोध है कि समारोह में ज़्यादा से ज्यादा भाग लेकर संविधान के प्रति जागरूक और सचेत बने।

पंचकूला 24 नवम्बर – हरियाणा के राज्यपाल बंडारू दतात्रेय ने गोल्फ कोर्स क्लब पंचकूला में जीएमआई गोल्फ चैम्पियनशीप प्रतियोगिता के विजेताओं को पारितोषिक प्रदान किए।

राज्यपाल ने गोल्फ बाॅल का शाॅट लगाकर विजेता टीमों का उत्साहवर्धन किया। इसमें उद्योग, नौकरशाही, थिंक टैंक की प्रमुख हस्तियों सहित 110 खिलाड़ियोें ने भाग लिया। पंचकूला गोल्फ कोर्स की गौरवशाली विरासत की अद्वितीय गोल्फ प्रदर्शन के रूप में याद किया जाएगा और इन खेलों से आपसी मेलजोल के साथ गोल्फ खेलों को बढावा मिलेगा। चैम्पियनशीप प्रतियोगिता में एनईटी पुरस्कार में योगेन्द्र शर्मा, डा. सुनील शर्मा, हरजोत सिंहं, राजेन्द्र सिंह और पुनीत कपूर को पुरस्कार प्रदान किए।

प्रतियोगिता में रनर अप भावमित टाईगर, कर्ण कक्कड, आईपीएस नोनिहाल सिंह, वीरेन्द्र शर्मा, जस्टीस अरूण मोंगा रहे। महिला प्रतिभागियों में नीलम गर्ग, शगन जैन को ग्रोस प्राईज प्रदान किए गए। इसी प्रकार टीम इवेंट पुरस्कार में अंगद कोहली और कैप्टन गगनदीप सिंह वालिया, दिलमिक लाम्बा और अनुज महाजन, शिव कुमार गुप्ता एवं आईएएस कुन्दन तथा अंकुश गर्ग व अमित सैनी विजेता रहे।

The 14th Annual International CESI Conference concluded at Panjab University, today.

The 14th Comparative Education Society of India (CESI) Annual International Conference was held from November 22 to 24, 2024. CESI is a constituent body of the World Council of Comparative Education Societies. The PU’s Department of Education organised the conference in collaboration with the Department of Philosophy, PU.

During the three-day international conference, around 250 scholars, educators, senior professors, and policymakers from India and abroad participated in rigorous intellectual exchanges, collaboration, and the generation of actionable insights for advancing educational policies. Key topics of discussion included the impact of emerging policies on education, strategies for promoting social justice and inclusivity, the role of technology in transforming educational landscapes, and the integration of sustainable development goals into educational frameworks.

On the final day of the 14th Annual International CESI Conference, a special session titled “The World of Learning: A Comparative Study of School Education Reforms in 52 Countries” was delivered by Prof. Marmar Mukhopadhyay from Educational Technology and Management Planning and Administration, New Delhi.

In his detailed talk, Prof. Mukhopadhyay deliberated extensively on reforms such as inclusive education, gender sensitivity, special needs education, critical thinking, vocational learning, and value-based education. His comparative analysis provided valuable insights into how various countries are addressing these reforms, offering a platform for dialogue and partnerships among educators and policymakers. The session was well-received, sparking engaging discussions among participants about the future of education and the imperative of reforming school systems to meet the diverse needs of learners globally.

The second day of the 14th Annual International CESI Conference, organised by the Department of Education, Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, was marked by insightful academic discussions and special lecture, bringing together scholars and participants from across the country.

Earlier today, the plenary session on the theme ‘Understanding Punjab’ was chaired by Prof. Akshaya Kumar from the PU Department of English. The session featured eminent panelists, including Prof. Ranjit Singh Ghuman, an economist from GNDU, Amritsar; Prof. Surinder Singh Jodhka from Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi; and Prof. Sukhmani Bal Riar, a historian from PU. The discussion examined Punjab’s contemporary challenges from historical, sociological, and economic perspectives. Key issues such as the political credibility crisis, economic stagnation, and a lack of visionary leadership were highlighted as factors contributing to the state’s precarious position. Despite these concerns, the panelists emphasised the enduring resilience and spirit of Punjab and its people.

The day also featured a special lecture by Padmashri Prof. Krishna Kumar on “Understanding Higher Education and Its Current Predicament.” Drawing on stories from the Panchatantra, Prof. Kumar reflected on the challenges faced by higher education in India, including the erosion of mutual trust, affection, and contemplative practices. He further noted that the excessive focus on rankings and grades, both among individuals and institutions, has compounded these challenges. Prof. Kumar emphasised the importance of fostering relationships, free dialogue, and collaborative discussions on campuses as essential for the co-creation of knowledge.

The session was chaired by Prof. Kuldeep Puri and moderated by Ms. Yamini, a research scholar at the Department of Philosophy. The lecture attracted a packed audience and was attended by distinguished figures such as Prof Arun Grover, former PU Vice-Chancellor; Mr. Atamjeet Singh; Prof. I.D. Gaud; and Prof. Furqan Qamar, former Vice-Chancellor of CUHP.

Last evening, the first day of the conference concluded with a lively cultural program in the university’s main auditorium, celebrating India’s diversity. Graced by Prof. Harsh Nayyar, former Director of RDC, and Prof. Yojna Rawat as Guests of Honour, the program showcased captivating performances by students from the Department of Education. Highlights included Kathak, Natti, Rajasthani folk dance, and the energetic Bhangra, which brought a festive close to the day’s academic discussions.

The three-day CESI conference continues to foster meaningful dialogue on critical academic and social issues.

पंचकूला 23 नवम्बर –  अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त अपराजिता ने कहा कि गीता जयंती समारोह में अधिक से अधिक आमजन की भागीदारी करके जयंती को मेले का भव्य स्वरूप प्रदान किया जाए।  

उन्होंने जिला स्तरीय गीता जंयती तैयारियों को लेकर संबंधित विभागों को जरूरी निर्देश दिए। उन्होंने कहा है कि 9 से 11 दिसंबर तक गीता जयंती समारोह में अधिक से अधिक स्कूली बच्चों को शामिल करने के साथ जिला के सभी स्कूलों के बच्चों का भ्रमण करवाया जाय। इसके अलावा धार्मिक व सामाजिक संस्थाओं की भागीदारी भी सुनिश्चित की जाए। 

उन्होंने कहा कि गीता जयंती समारोह प्रेरणादायी होने के साथ-साथ भव्य और आकर्षक होगी। उन्होंने बताया कि तीन दिन तक चलने वाले गीता जयंती महोत्सव के दौरान तीनों दिन विभिन्न विभागों द्वारा प्रदर्शनी लगाई जाएगी। पेंटिंग, सेल्फी पॉइंट, गीता पाठ, हवन एवं श्लोकचरण, व्याख्यान भी होगा। प्रदर्शनी के माध्यम से विभागों द्वारा सरकार की योजनाओं की जानकारी दी जाएगी, ताकि अधिक से अधिक पात्र लोग योजनाओं का लाभ उठा सके। 

अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त ने बताया कि श्री कृष्ण एवं भागवत गीता पर आधारित सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रमों के अलावा नाटक का आयोजन होगा। इसके अलावा अंतिम दिन नगर शोभा यात्रा निकाली जाएगी, जिसमें गीता पर आधारित झांकियां शामिल होंगी। नगर शोभा यात्रा में धार्मिक व सामाजिक संस्थाएं भी गीता पर आधारित अपनी झांकी शामिल कर सकते हैं।

 गीता जयंती समारोह में अधिक से अधिक संख्या में लोगों को शामिल किया जाय ताकि पूरा जिला गीतामय नजर आए।

पंचकूला, 23 नवम्बर – उपायुक्त मोनिका गुप्ता ने कहा कि 26 नवम्बर को संविधान दिवस पर सेक्टर-1 स्थित राजकीय कॉलेज में जिला स्तरीय कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया जाएगा। कार्यक्रम में स्कूल, कॉलेज और सामाजिक आमजन की भागीदारी रहेगी। उपायुक्त ने कार्यक्रम का सफल बनाने के लिए अधिकारियों को उचित दिशा-निर्देश दिए। 

उपायुक्त मोनिका गुप्ता आज लघु सचिवालय के सभागार में संविधान दिवस मनाने को लेकर आयोजित बैठक को संबोधित कर रहे थे। इससे पहले मुख्य सचिव श्री विवेक जोशी ने वीडियो कॉफ्रेंस के माध्यम से संविधान दिवस को लेकर आवश्यक दिशा-निर्देश दिए।

मोनिका गुप्ता ने संविधान दिवस के कार्यक्रम के लिए अतिरिक्त उपायुक्त अपराजिता को नोडल अधिकारी नियुक्त किया। जिला में एक कार्यक्रम जिला स्तर पर आयोजित किया जाएगा। इसके अलावा विभिन्न संस्थानों पर संस्थान स्तर के कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे। उन्होंने निर्देश दिए कि जिलाभर में होने वाले कार्यक्रम की फोटो को प्रशासन द्वारा वैबसाइट पर अपलोड की जाएगी। उन्होंने पंचायत विभाग के अधिकारियों को निर्देश दिए कि पंचायतों में भी संविधान दिवस के कार्यक्रम आयोजन करने की रूप-रेखा तैयार की जाए।

उपायुक्त ने निर्देश दिए कि जिला के सभी स्कूलों में मोर्निंग सभा के दौरान संविधान दिवस पर शपथ दिलवाई जाए और स्कूली विद्यार्थियों को संविधान दिवस मनाने के पीछे के इतिहास को विस्तृत रूप से बताया जाए। इसके अलावा स्कूलों में संविधान दिवस को लेकर विभिन्न प्रकार की प्रतियिगिताओं का आयोजन भी किया जाए और अव्वल आने वाले विद्यार्थियों को पुरस्कार देकर सम्मानित किया जाए। 

उन्होंने कहा कि जिला के सभी कॉलेजों में संविधान दिवस से एक दिन पहले 25 नवम्बर को संविधान दिवस को लेकर विभिन्न प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया जाए। इसमें स्लोगन लेखन प्रतियोगिता, पोस्टर मेकिंग प्रतियोगिता, क्विज प्रतियोगिता आदि को शामिल किया जाए। इन प्रतियोगिताओं में अव्वल आने वाले विद्यार्थियों को 26 नवम्बर के दिन पुरस्कार देकर सम्मानित किया जाए। 

इस मौके पर एसडीएम पंचकूला गौरव चौहान, एसडीएम कालका राजेश पुनिया, जिला शिक्षा अधिकारी सतपाल कौशिक, खंड पंचायत एवं विकास अधिकारी मोरनी अंकुर सहित अन्य गणमान्य अधिकारी मौजूद रहे।

 इसके अंतर्गत अभिभावकों को शिक्षकों ने विद्यार्थियों की शिक्षा संबंधी जानकारी प्रदान की। अभिभावक शिक्षक बैठक कॉलेज प्राचार्या प्रोमिला मलिक के कुशल नेतृत्व में हुई।

 बैठक में छात्र के शैक्षणिक प्रदर्शन के बारे में चर्चा, महाविद्यालय में चल रहे पाठ्यक्रम और आगामी पाठ्यक्रम के बारे में जानकारी, भविष्य के शैक्षणिक लक्ष्य, माता-पिता से प्रतिक्रिया और सुझाव शामिल है। बैठक में अभिभावकों को यह संदेश दिया गया कि वह अपने बच्चों की शिक्षा के प्रति सजग रहे जिससे उनका कल का भविष्य सुनहरा बने।

 प्रस्तुत कार्यक्रम आइक्यूएसी आंतरिक गुणवत्ता आश्वासन प्रकोष्ठ के प्रभारी प्रोफेसर डॉक्टर रविंद्र और सदस्य जसपाल टूर के मार्गदर्शन में किया गया।

*Chandigarh, November 23:-* Today, Sh. Gulab Chand Kataria, Governor Punjab and Administrator UT Chandigarh attended the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh House meeting to address various pressing issues of city beautiful.

City Mayor Sh. Kuldeep Kumar welcomed the chief guest Sh. Gulab Chand Kataria and briefed about the various areas of activities under  the ambit of MC Chandigarh including roads, gardens, sewerage, toilets and other areas.

MC Commissioner Sh. Amit Kumar, IAS, gave a brief presentation about last five years’ grant in aid received with time head wise break up; expenditure under capital head and revenue head respectively; annual operations and maintenance costs.

The MC Commissioner also said that the Corporation is working in the direction to increase revenues and curtail expenses. He also requested for positive intervention from the Chandigarh Administration to come out of the finanical burden. 

The Administrator took round of introduction of all the councillors, shared his public life experiences from his vast political career and said that once elected, the councillor belongs to the public at large. He said that the purpose of this visit is to listen to the issues of the MC house, understand them and help in finding solutions. 

The Administrator advised that working committees may be formed within the MC house regarding various important subjects in order to increase the efficiency of the house. The Administrator also suggested to rope in volunteering brilliant retired officials and experts to discuss such pertaining matters and utilise their expertise in finding solutions. Giving a holistic view, the Administrator said that to increase the potential of revenue generation in Chandigarh, we need to build world class education facilities,

Promote medical tourism, and organize Sports competitions regularly at national international levels. The Administrator also said thay third party audit may be carried out for all projects under MC.

 Administrator said that one of the most important revenue source is Property tax and therefore, Property valuation should be periodically. 

Tue Administrator laid emphasis on ring road proposal in order to decongest the traffic passing through the city. He assured all help in this regard to obtain funds from the Centre.

The Administrator assured all councillors that they are welcome to meet and discuss important issues, ideas and soultions in future also. He assured cooperation in all aspects for public welfare.

पंचकूला 22 नवंबर – राजकीय महाविद्यालय कालका की प्राचार्या प्रोमिला मलिक की अध्यक्षता तथा प्रोफेसर डॉक्टर रामचंद्र, डीन विज्ञान संकाय के दिशा निर्देशन में विज्ञान प्रदर्शनी का सफल आयोजन किया गया। इस प्रदर्शनी में वनस्पति विज्ञान विभाग, प्राणी विज्ञान विभाग, भौतिक विज्ञान विभाग, रसायन विज्ञान विभाग, भूगोल विभाग और कंप्यूटर विज्ञान विभाग के विद्यार्थियों ने विभिन्न मॉडल बनाएं और प्रदर्शित किये।
विज्ञान प्रदर्शनी में प्राचार्या प्रोमिला मलिक मुख्य अतिथि रही।

उन्होंने मॉडल्स की सराहना करते हुए कहा कि इस तरह के आयोजन से विद्यार्थियों में वैज्ञानिक दृष्टिकोण का विकास होता है। विज्ञान समिति की प्रभारी प्रोफेसर डॉक्टर नीरू ने विद्यार्थियों को विज्ञान प्रदर्शनी में भाग लेने के लिए प्रोत्साहित किया। भौतिक विज्ञान के विद्यार्थियों ने ऑटोमेटिक हाइट एडजस्टिंग स्मार्ट ब्रिज, इंटेलिजेंट वाटर एग्रीकल्चर, एंटी स्लिप अलार्म, स्मार्ट वेस्ट मैनेजमेंट, स्मार्ट रोड सेफ्टी एट माउंटेन, गार्डलेस रेलवे क्रॉसिंग, लेजर सिक्योरिटी मॉडल्स बनाएं। रसायन विभाग के विद्यार्थियों ने कंबुजा ए हेल्थ ड्रिंक, एक्सट्रैक्शन ऑफ़ सिलिका एंड इट्स यूजेस, जियोथर्मल एनर्जी, अल्टरनेटिव आफ केमिकल्स, पेरासिटामोल एंटीपायरेटिक एनाल्जेसिक, यूस फिटकरी मॉडल्स बनाएं। वनस्पति विज्ञान विभाग और प्राणी विज्ञान विभाग ने मस्सल डिस्ट्रॉफी, टविनिंग बायोलॉजिकली, फाइटरस इन ब्लड, एंटीबॉडीज एंड देयर रोल्स, वंडर्स ऑफ़ बायोएंजाइम्स, इन्सुलिन रेसिसटेंस एन अनसीन पेनडेमिक, मशरूम कल्टीवेशन, अर्बन फार्मिंग बाए हाइड्रोपोनिक मॉडल्स बनाएं। भूगोल विज्ञान विभाग ने अर्थक्वेक, मूविंग सैटलाइट, सैटेलाइट कम्युनिकेशन मॉडल बनाएं। कंप्यूटर साइंस विभाग ने फिकर नॉट, ट्रैवलिंग पोर्टल, एग्रीमाट, स्किल स्वैप मॉडल बनाएं। कुल 73 विद्यार्थियों ने भाग लिया।
