In a beautiful blend of tradition, sustainability, and Nationalism, the Municipal Corporation Chandigarh, in collaboration with Resident Welfare Associations (RWAs), Market Welfare Associations (MWAs), and Self-Help Groups (SHGs), today launched the inspiring initiative — “Rakhi with a Cause: Tying the Nation Together.”

As part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, this unique initiative features handmade, eco-friendly tricolour Rakhis, meticulously crafted by local women artisans from SHGs across the city. These rakhis symbolize the sacred bond of love while also promoting self-reliance (Aatmanirbharta), women empowerment, and environmental sustainability.

The initiative was officially launched from Sector 22-D, by Municipal Corporation. Sh. Sumeet Sihag, Joint Commissioner, MCC, area Councillor Sh. Damanpreet Singh and Sh. Parveen Kumar, Brand Ambassador, Swachh Bharat Mission & President of the Shopkeeper Market Association, Kiran Theater Block, Sector 22-D, along with other dignitaries and association office bearers were present on the occassion.

While speaking about the initiative, Sh. Amit Kumar, IAS, MC Commissioner said that this initiative is not just about Rakhi. It is about connecting hearts, empowering women, and celebrating the National identity. The aim behind this initiative is to involve diverse sections of society and unite them under one patriotic cause, he said.

He said that the tricolour Rakhis will be showcased and made available across various city markets, bringing visibility and income opportunities to women SHGs, while promoting an eco-conscious way of celebrating Raksha Bandhan. He said that this Raksha Bandhan, let’s tie a Rakhi that tells a story — of unity, empowerment, and National pride.

The programme was conducted as a zero-waste event, aligning with the city’s commitment to sustainability and responsible civic participation.

Paras Health Panchkula Signs MoU with Panchkula and Kalka Bar Associations to Extend Healthcare Privileges to Legal Fraternity

Panchkula, 5th August 2025 – In a significant initiative aimed at supporting the legal community, Paras Health Panchkula has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Panchkula Bar Association and the Kalka Bar Association (District Court, Panchkula). This partnership will provide over 2,500–3,000 advocates with access to specialized healthcare benefits and discounted medical services at Paras Health Panchkula.

This move builds upon an earlier MoU signed with the Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association, through which 15,000 advocates have already been covered. With the latest collaboration, the total number of legal professionals benefiting from Paras Health’s outreach now exceeds 18,000, reaffirming the hospital’s commitment to the welfare of the legal fraternity.

The MoU signing ceremony was graced by distinguished dignitaries including Shri Randhir Singh Bhadran – Ex-Chairman, Bar Council; Shri. Hitender Chaudhary- Kalka Bar Aassociation President;  Shri Jasbir Singh Thol – Senior Vice President, DBA; Shri Kulbir Saini – Secretary, DBA; Shrimati Komal – Joint Secretary, DBA; Shri Prakash Mor – Vice President, DBA; and Shri Dheeraj Kumar – DGM-Marketing, Paras Health Panchkula.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Pankaj Mittal, Facility Director, Paras Health Panchkula, said, “We are proud to partner with the Panchkula and Kalka Bar Associations. The legal community plays a vital role in safeguarding justice and societal values, often at the expense of their own health. Paras Health also plans to extend similar partnerships to other bar associations within a 50-kilometer radius, thereby expanding its reach and impact across the legal community.

तीन सत्रों में लेबरफैड द्वारा किया गया सेमिनार का आयोजन

पंचकूला, 5 अगस्त- सहकारिता विभाग हरियाणा की लेबरफैड द्वारा अंतरराष्ट्रीय सहकारिता वर्ष 2025 अभियान के अंतर्गत लोक निर्माण विभाग के विश्राम गृह, सैक्टर-1, पंचकुला में सेमिनार का आयोजन किया गया।  सेमिनार में हरियाणा के लगभग प्रत्येक जिला लेबरफैड के चेयरमैन, निदेशक व सहकारी श्रम एवं निर्माण समितियों के सदस्यों ने भाग लिया।


 सेेमिनार का मुख्य उद्देश्य श्रम एवं निर्माण समितियों के सदस्यों/निदेशकों के बीच जागरूकता पैदा करना एवं हरियाणा सरकार द्वारा सहकारी श्रम एवं निर्माण समितियों के लिए जारी की गई राजपत्र अधिसूचना की जानकारी देना था। सेमीनार को तीन सत्रों में विभाजित किया गया जिसमें पहले आॅनलाईन टेंडर प्रक्रिया के विषय में स्वास्थ्य अभियांत्रिकी विभाग, हरियाणा की टीम द्वारा व्याख्यान दिया गया, दूसरा प्रबंध निदेशक लेबर फैडरेशन एवं अतिरिक्त रजिस्ट्रार सहकारी समितियां, हरियाणा विरेन्द्र कुमार द्वारा हरियाणा सरकारी की अधिसूचना के विषय में जानकारी दी गई जिसमें उन द्वारा यह बताया गया कि हरियाणा सरकार द्वारा पहले प्राथमिक सहकारी श्रम एवं निर्माण समितियों के लिए सभी विभागों में कुशल व अकुशल कार्य 50 लाख रूपये तक की राशि के लिए आरक्षित थे जिसकी राशि हरियाणा सरकार की अधिसूचना द्वारा जून 2025 से 1.00 करोड़ रूपये तक कर दी गई है जो कि सहकारी श्रम एवं निर्माण समितियों के हक में महत्वपूर्ण कदम है, तीसरा हरकोबैंक के महाप्रबंधक अशोक वर्मा द्वारा क्रेडिट सुविधा के बारे में जानकारी दी गई।


इस अवसर पर संयुक्त रजिस्ट्रार सहकारी समितियां, हरियाणा श्री नरेश गोयल, श्री योगेश शर्मा, उपमंडल अधिकारी लेबरफैड अमन धीमान, प्रचार अधिकारी हरकोफैड सौरव अत्री उपस्थित रहे।

पंचकूला, 5 अगस्त हरियाणा सरस्वती हैरिटेज बोर्ड तथा गुरुग्राम विश्विद्यालय के बीच पंचकूला स्थित बोर्ड के कार्यालय में महत्वपूर्ण एमओयू पर हस्ताक्षर किए गए।

इस मौके पर बोर्ड के डिप्टी चेयरमैन नेे बताया की सरस्वती नदी के पुर्न प्रवाह की दिशा में किए गए प्रयासों को जनता तक पहुंचाने तथा प्राचीन सरस्वती नदी के उद्गम प्रवाह और भारतीय सभ्यता में योगदान को अकादमिक विमर्श के साथ जोड़ने के लिए यह एमओयू किया गया है।

गुरुग्राम विश्वविद्यालय के कुलपति एवं प्रबंधन तथा आर्थिक विषयों के विशेषज्ञ प्रो संजय कौशिक ने कहा कि सरस्वती केवल एक नदी नहीं बल्कि भारत के एक विशाल भू भाग के समाज जीवन की अर्थव्यस्था का आधार रही हैं। इस अवसर पर बोर्ड के डिप्टी चेयरपर्सन धूमन सिंह किरमच ने विस्तृत प्रेजेंटेशन के माध्यम से बताया कि किस प्रकार से सरस्वती के प्रवाह को पुनर्जीवित किया जा रहा है और आम जनमानस को इसका लाभ मिल रहा है। इस अवसर पर सरस्वती बोर्ड के सीईओ वरिष्ठ कुमार सुप्रवीण ने बताया गुरुग्राम विश्विद्यालय में बोर्ड की सहायता से सरस्वती लाइब्रेरी स्थापित की जाएगी तथा पाठ्यक्रम निर्माण पर भी काम किया जाएगा। इस लाइब्रेरी के माध्यम से विश्वविद्यालय के विद्यार्थी सरस्वती नदी से जुड़े विषय पर अध्ययन तथा शोध कर पाएंगे।

 मीडिया अध्ययन विभाग के अध्यक्ष प्रो राकेश योगी ने बताया कि सरस्वती नदी के ऐतिहासिक संदर्भों वैज्ञानिक व तकनीकी पक्षों को तथा बोर्ड द्वारा वर्तमान में किए गए कार्य को आधार बनाकर मीडिया के विद्यार्थी डॉक्यूमेंट्री सीरीज, शॉर्ट वीडियो, न्यूज लेटर एवं अन्य मीडिया सामग्री का निर्माण करेंगे।  बोर्ड के डिप्टी चेयरपर्सन धूमन सिंह किरमच ने गुरुग्राम विश्विद्यालय के कुलपति व समस्त टीम को कहा कि पर्यावरण व जल संकट के वर्तमान दौर में सरस्वती नदी के पुनर्प्रवाह के काम में विश्विद्यालय के जुड़ने से बोर्ड का सामर्थ्य बढ़ेगा।

महीने में एक बार ही डिपो से मिलेगा सरसों का तेल

पंचकूला, 5 अगस्त जिला खाद्य नागरिक आपूर्ति एवं उपभोक्ता मामले नियन्त्रक नितिश कुमार सिंगला ने बताया कि खाद्य एंव पूर्ति विभाग द्वारा डिपो के माध्यम से सरसों के तेल के रेट में संशोधन किया गया है।

उन्होने बताया कि अब एक लीटर सरसों का तेल 30 रूपये का मिलेगा। यदि कोई दो लीटर तेल लेगा तो उसे 100 रूपये अदा करने पडेंगे। उन्होने बताया कि महीने में एक बार ही सरसों का तेल मिलेगा।

उन्होने बताया कि सभी डिपूधारकों को इस बारे में सूचना दे दी गई है। इन आदेशों के अनुसार यदि कोई लाभार्थी प्रारंभ में 1 लीटर सरसों तेल लेता है तो लाभार्थी को 30 रूपये प्रति लीटर की दर से शुल्क का भुगतान करना होगा तथा बाद में अतिरिक्त तेल की मांग स्वीकार नही की जाएगी। उन्होने बताया कि डिपो पर लगी पी0ओ0एस0 मशीन में तेल दर्ज किया जाएगा।
